Off topic, but I found a cerakote that's pretty close to the Toyota grey.

Wow, nice - that's tough stuff!

My phone is jacked up right now, I can get/send texts w/o images and emails for any images needed bird251@prodigy.net. I'll have a new phone by the end of the week.
Thanks
Jimmy

Really cool work. These wheels are tough to do. I just got this one back from my painter....it looked as if somebody had taken it off the truck, thrown it down a road then ran over it. Bad shape....no cracks though. My painter uses base coat clear coat on them.....beautiful.

I have to have a "surprise" back surgery, will be back in a week or two.

I'm curious. Why use an etching primer on plastic?
So the topcoat paint has a "hook"--stuff works especially good on fiberglass/plastic--

Just clear coated a fj25 wheel, it had a lot of damage and I had to "fabricate" missing chunks.

I would love my one restored it has 6 deep cracks on the hub though I am in Australia and freight to you would cost a fortune.

Thanks for your offer but i need to pull the one that is on the ute off first, its a small hilux one. Though the worst part is its welded straight on the steering rod.

I'm doing the later model wheels now, let me know if you need one restored.
