Nice bumper. Curious for those of us that don’t need to mount a spare that high if there is some adjustability to lower the tire for more rear visibility?

The step cutout in the arm could also be used as a High Lift jacking point, if the arm will support it. Any thoughts or recommendations?

Definitely can be used for that. Extreme caution is advised though as the top of the jack will be incredibly close to (hopefully) virgin paint.

Thanks! Height is not adjustable with our tire carrier attachment. It is designed to accommodate up to a 37” tire and still leave adequate clearance for accessing the latch handle (needed to operate arm).

Very nice. Is there enough room or a slot to be able to use the underbody spare crank in the event one wants to roll with two spares and not use dual carriers?

Not designed for it, but it looks like the long arm can squeeze in there. Probably work ok as a backup to the backup. Might want to save room for a water or fuel tank under there though...

Just got some of the accessory first prototypes buttoned up last night. Thought y'all might like some photos.

This post is of mounting the hi-lift inboard and a single jerrycan holder outboard. This jerrycan holder is specifically designed to daisy chain up so multiple cans can be mounted. In the configuration below, a second holder would be bolted to both the arm and this first holder. If you had a different place to mount your hi-lift, a third holder would fit as well.

Hi-lift mount is steel and will be powdercoated to match bumper, jerrycan holder is 100% stainless and aluminum with no welds to fatigue and crack over time. It is riveted together, just like an airplane. Will withstand ALL the elements as well.

Here you can see the hi-lift mounted on the outboard side, all about them options...

AND for all you ROTOPAX lovers, there will be mounting options for those as well.

Vertical option:

Angled option to match the hi-lift mount and spare tire carrier:

And some of the smaller details for those who like that stuff. Here is a shot of the "stash spot" to carry your recovery gear once it gets all dirty on the trail.

That’s incredibly beautiful. Out of curiosity, is that a 48” or 60” high lift? If a 48”, how would you propose a mount for a 60” without it being sky high?

Seriously gorgeous work.

Thanks!

The lift pictured is a 48", that's what the system is designed around. It is right about even with the stock rack when mounted in the outboard position. There is only so much room to work with, so if you want to mount a 60" it will have to be on the inboard mount situation (like in the first pic with the jerrycan holder above), which has more adjustability than the outboard mounting location. Even though it could be mounted in the inboard position, that would be hanging pretty low and sticking up pretty high. Would probably be a better choice to mount alongside your rack or something. Or even better, come up with your own design based on the mounting locations we'll provide!

Is the hilift held in place just by "jacking" it up in the opening?

Yes, along with some appropriately placed lips and hold-downs, not detailed in these pics. First test says it's "stout as f___".

Why is everyone asking Delta to justify their own internal rates and trying to pick apart their business? Ridiculous. These guys are bringing new, innovative and exciting products to a bunch of nerds who drive 20-30 year old vehicles around. Small market. We should welcome them with open arms and not dissect them and their (private) business practices.

I am continually amazed at what a tough crowd this forum is.

Great work Delata. Keep it up.

Agreed.!

I think a lot of folks forget that this section of the forum is for technical discussion, coming here and not expecting technical questions is a little bit surprising.
