What brand of tires and do you like the way they ride?
Thx
Goodyear Duratracs. I'm on my 3rd set at this point. I don't have any complains about their road manners. They work very well in the snow and we see our fair share up here so that is a bonus for me.

This 3rd set seems to be wearing faster and is starting to get pretty loud. I may stick with them or go with something else next round. Still not sure. I think I have around 45k on them.

@Delta VS do you know if you have any 2" arms in stock? i just ordered a set :cheers:
Happy to answer questions about orders via email, with order numbers included.

That being said, we have lots of arms in stock but we are moving this month and things are still getting reorganized. It'll likely be a few days before it goes out.

I Emailed Dave & he replied with current axle forward length on the arms:
All previous specs have been superseded.

Stock arms are ~36.2
2” arms are ~0.05" longer & corrects 4.5* of caster.
4” arms are ~0.25" longer & corrects 8* of caster.
6” arms are ~0.41" longer & corrects 11.6* of caster.

I went back to my thread and I had recorded the 6” delta arms being .5” longer than stock. I posted 3/4” earlier in this thread.

Is that total length or measured from bushing eye center to center?

So I think the confusion originally comes from me not correcting old specifications. The lengths Gary posted are correct for the current high clearance arms.

I measured 29" to the middle bolt hole so I can only assume from the picture below that Dave is going to the most forward bolt hole rather then where the center of the axle would be. That's a 36" ruler by the way.

Yeah thanks. I was curious of the length from the center of the rear hole to the center of the front hole.

Adam, the 36.2 is from center to center of OEM arms with OEM bushings.

Since I have been Emailing Dave back & forth about how far forward each control arms go forward I asked how much more a custom order would be. Here was his reply:

Hi Gary,

Custom arms would be a 200$ charge. Been considering making “L” (long) versions for a while though, so if patient, wouldn’t have to be custom.

Thanks,
Dave Schenker

Did you all read that?
He has been considering making a Long version.
I believe 1" forward would be just about perfect.
A 4L or even a 3L would be awesome for a 37" tire or bigger.
Please reply if any of you all would consider making a purchase if Dave made a run of the 4L or 3L version.

In for the long guns Gary and Dave. My hand is on the trigger!

I have the 4" control arms, they are awesome, amazing transformation on and off road.

However, there are times, and I honestly try not to think about it........ I wonder if I should have gone 37's

I'm super happy with my 315's, full Delta kit and Dobinson 3" but there are times I wonder if I should have gone 37's

I'm sure there's plenty of you out there thinking the same

I made the move to 37s. Rides better than the 35s + 4.88s.

Without the Delta arms, I’d rub on the body on turns which would’ve been a deal breaker. Many fail to account for the fact that caster plates shorten your wheelbase.

If long were available when I bought mine I would’ve chose them.

I have 4" arms, but I wonder what the long versions would do to the pinion angle - driveshaft angle relationship? My setup is currently 2° off fr each other, and I'm running a dc shaft.

If it means I won't have to break out the cutting tools to throw 37s on (obviously suspension dependent and good cycling of it to check), sign me up for long version! How do you suppose long versions would do with 35s while I wait to step up to 37s?

I put on the 37’s before the Delta ams but wouldn’t see any issue with running 35’s with longer arms first. the issue is with the rear of the fender rubbing slightly. I’m betting my 37’s might clear with the 4” arms TBH. Stuffing may be another story. I talked to Dave this week also and discussed the thought of them bringing the longer 37” version to market as well. the key word is patient. I would say talk to Dave if your thinking about moving on a set. Im sure he would work somehting out with you. It certainly doesnt hurt to reply with intrest here as it will pressure them into bringing them to market a little lol. Im sure Dave will speak up on where they stand. Im another intrested without a doubt.
