Lots going on this week. Almost done with a 97 (suspension and exhaust left) and we have about 1/2 of the turbo plumbed on @efjayatee’s 93. Next week will be wrapping up the 97, turboing @damonhimself’s 80 and engine building time for @SHELLBACK’s stage 2!

That's awesome! I took this LC to C&C for some additional power and miscellaneous upgrades. Cruisers and Company have been great. We're already planning for the next stage!

Well the refinement/evolution continues.

Currently the downpipes neck down from 3” to 2.5” midway down the pipe. Each one was hand cut out of pre bent sections that were then welded. Time consuming and some pieces every now and then had to be scrapped. Just like the jpipe we decided to 3D scan the downpipe, put it into CAD and redo it. Why? Because we knew it could be better! One weld removed, full 3” with option to reduced at the lower Vband so it can be grafted to the factory exhaust or keep 3” all the out the back. These will pair great with the stage 2’s that need some free flow or work with stage 1 kits utilizing the factory exhaust. Really happy with how these turned out. Previous gen downpipe in there for reference.

SWEET !!

makes me wonder how many of your refinements/tweaks could be added/incorporated onto a wits end kit...

Looking great and excited to see how the fuel management works out. Yay OBI1's!

Physical parts maybe the intake piping, the intercooler we’re working on, big fueling kit and engine management. Jpipe and Downpipe won’t work because of the turbo. The engine management would need some tuning because of the different turbo. We’d need a truck

So I know somewhere in this thread we went over the wrap that is included in the kit and to say the least it is legit... Proved that again today on the test mule. I discovered while grabbing a photo for a guy doing a turbo install this weekend that the clip that holds the main engine harness trunk to the firewall had failed on my cruiser and the main harness had been laying on the downpipe for only god knows how long..... The harness is a little crispy and had clearly gotten hot but it isn't melted at and it is clear that it had been laying there for awhile as it had started leaving a divot in the heatshield armor. This is a PSA to check that clip before something bad potentially happens!

For anyone that want's more wrap than what's included in the kit, here's the link

The clip that broke is part number 82711-3H180

Open manifolds??

Where can I get that intake elbow? I am building a turbo 5VZ and have been looking for something like that.

I’ve got the first-to-production Wit’s End turbo kit installed on my rig. Willing to lend it to you for R&D purposes.
Not sure how I’d get it to you though.

Pretty sure Johnny is well past R&D. At this point he has already sold and delivered more kits than Joey ever delivered.

Is it still running well? Other than the gas mileage and the urge to hear that turbo spool every where I go my kit has been great.
