When i was doing my spring over I came to the conclusion that any of the cheap angle finders are worthless. I had one from lowes, one from harbor freight and they were both off 2-3 degrees and worse yet they seemed to give varying readings as well. The only thing I would trust is a higher end digital angle finder.
It is looking really good! I agree I do the best with what I have too. It's not always perfect but it sure is fun! Heck I start pulling things apart and cutting and welding before I even really know what I am doing! Keep up the good work! Looking forward to seeing picks of it on a trail!
chicago, I'm going to come steal your s***. You better finish it soon
Oh I wasn't trying to be critical I just saw you mentioned some things looked opposite of what your angle finder read, I was just saying there's a pretty good chance your eye is better than that angle finder.
Put the rear on stands to so you wont have a difference caused by tyre pressure.
Lol!
I'll just take the front off the stands!![]()
That looks kind of sketchy, it might fall apart,
If your truck were hit by a meteor![]()
Are you going to brace it at the back?
There is a lot of weight being trown arround in a radiator, maybe link it to the front?

I agree, more bracing is needed. Maybe some triangulated braces to the frame?
