No I was being serious, I hear there is good wheeling in AZ from some friends of mine that live / have lived there, and I have heard some nevada is nice too. And all I have seen of colorado looks just amazing! a some point in my life I wanna move out of state even if just for a couple of years who knows maybe Ill stay.

AZ is our next move.
That is WHEN and IF the housing market ever picks back up...
Both my wife and I are NOT fans of the cold.
I need a place that is gun friendly, theres wheeling (and Im not talking private owned rock quarry's and mud bogs) and is warm to hot year around. AZ fits that bill perfectly....
Although, this winter here has been ACCEPTABLE thus far. The last two winters here in NV have been "chicago'esque" Cold, dreary and LONG.
Could never move back east. that is one thing that is FOR SURE.

Nevada sucks, you wouldn't like it. :grinpimp:

Yeah.. Screw nevada.....

Yeah try getting stuck in a country with no rocks lots of regulations to prevent 4x4s to do their stuff, -10 in December, this year, road tax that you can buy a new car for every year and fuell prices going to 3x the ones in the states.:bang: Well you don't hear me complaining, uh well maybe a bit (lot). You guys happen to have a recruitment job somewhere in Nevada, sounds a lot better than here.

Keith, what is this talking about moving, you allready are way behind on the cruiser. Think of all the jobs that need to be done in a new house.:grinpimp: Your :princess: won't be so understanding anymore and the 40 will be on the back burner.:whoops:

Talking about derailment.

Colorados pretty nice. The area I live in is right on the fringe of town but Denver is still a very reasonable commute. Lot of car guys in general, see everything from exotics to buggies in a day (live within two miles of two very high end neighborhoods one way and two miles away from farmland the other way). Wheeling is a day trip for the more extreme trails like 21 Road, Carnage, Patriot, Holy Cross which isn't bad to me. If I wasn't living here I would want to live in Az or Nevada but I doubt I'll ever find another house like mine for the price I paid.

my mom lives in pescott az and it is real nice there , the wife and myself are thinking of moving there when nate finishes high school in 2012.

BACK ON ALL FOURS!!!!:bounce::bounce2:
However, she is sitting ASS LOW.
That is with NO real weight in the back, so itll drop even more when loaded with gear and all the crap is on the swingout.
Look great as it sits, but that will need to be addressed. I could add a leaf to the rear pack and maybe a little bit longer rear shackle.

Any opinons?
(That is a pretty stupid question considering the crowd here!:D)

Also got the steering wheel installed. Its a grant, and I cant quite get the horn to sit right. There are tabs that you are supposed to fit the horn button down on and then TURN the BUTTON about 1/4-1/2 a turn, but I cant seem to TURN it, so the button pops off.:mad::mad: Even went so far as to grabbing a piece of rubber gasket material to get a better grip. WONT TURN!

These are FJ60 rear springs, correct?

If so, the cheapest option might be some OME FJ60 springs to lift the rear and provide higher load carrying capability. You should have room for 37s. Looks great.

NICE ... I guess I should build up mine too looks great .... doesnt look too low what all is goin on the front ???

Andy,
You dont think that throwing another leaf in there and a 5 in shackle would help? The shackle that I have on now is a stock length. I have 2 more leaf packs as well that I can pillage. Right now I have 7 leaves in the rear pack and 6 in the front. I was actually concerned that the front would sit LOWER than the rear, but I guess the SR stands it up a little PROUDER.

Yeah...its not TOO bad. I actually really like the way its sitting right now, but...once I get all my tools, spares, weekend trip load for cargo, its gonna drop at least another 2 in. I would suspect.
There's not much left to go into the front that has any substantial weight. The front clip, battery, rad. etc. Itll be SOME, but I dont think itll be enough to balance the rig out.

I'd go with leafs and shackles, if you go the OME route you might need to do the front to. And when you use more arched springs you need to use longer shackles otherwise you add more stress to the perches.

What I was gonna say with the exception that arched leafs do not have the same flex tendencies and that with the lift springs it would sit a good bit higher as well. better to just add the extra leaf(s) and a longer shackle if needed.

Ill chew on it for a bit.
Since I HAVE the extra leafs as well as a set of 5 in (eye to eye) shackles I may play with that first. THAT would be the cheapest option at this point....FREE!

The problem with the longer shackles is that it will change your pinion angle that you so carefully set.

Try the extra couple of leafs and see what happens. Maybe you'll get lucky.

Do you have a winch on the front yet? That's going to lower the front a bit as well. Maybe, winch, dual battery and that will sink the front enough to be level.
