Pro tip: If you value your tent and / or life do not camp near JP. At least not if alcohol and gas are present.

We don't have to worry about JP. He always says he is going to make an event but then never shows. I predict he will start working on his new 40 the week before the event only to realize at 4am in the morning on Friday it won't make it out of his neighborhood.

Chuck probably won't come either. Even though he is some sort of Master Scout he doesnt camp much and the last time he brought his kid he yacked on him at 1am in the morning.

Or that's the plan anyhow!!

Same here. I'll be leaving first thing Friday. @Teddy how much firewood do you have? I don't have a trailer to transport any, are you bringing your M101? If so, I'll chip in on the wood.

I have plenty of firewood to bring. My dad and I have huge stacks all over the woods. No need to chip in anything. I am planning to leave my house 1200ish on Friday so I should be there about 2ish.

I need to figure out what I'm bringing to cook, smoke, and drink. Can't wait.

I was speaking with Marshall earlier about cooking utensils - I don't have a grill or anything to cook on... Do you? I think @JohnVee and @forrest5000 do, but I'm not sure what they are bringing. I can bring burgers/sausages/buns/fixins. I was planning to bring the fridge in case you need something refrigerated...

@JohnVee , are you going to make it to Black Balsam?

I'm bringing my grill that just sets over the camp fire. I'm thinking king of something to make in my big cast iron pot to heat up.

We are planning on bringing minestrone soup.

That's custom wood working right there!

You and Sarah caravanning again? Oh, I have a hacksaw and fire extinguisher packed too.
@CharlestonG8R Nope. Work gets in the way again. Sarah will bring the 80. Can send the 2-burner stove with her if needed.
Man, I wish you could make it John. Was hoping you'd pack the BGE!
We are planning on bringing minestrone soup.
Sounds great!

Just wife and i. Cuz is on his own.

I'll bring the club cooker. Has three burners, a grill and a griddle. So you really don't need to bring anything to cook on. Might need a pot or something but that's it. This way if it's windy and we cant build a fire we still have a cooking source.

I have been reading up on how to make a colored camp fire. May try to bring the ingredients to make a green flame. Boric acid and methanol.
