Where the pics at? Was looking forward to seeing Big Red under the Big Red Moon!
Sorry, got swamped with a ton of emails, work and homework. I'll upload them soon.

Here are a few teaser ones while I consolidate the pics
The picture doesn't do the scenery justice, was using a cellphone camera. The moon was huge and really bright.

Passed this Unimog along the way. I'm almost positive I've seen it on expedition portal.

I ordered 5 used military tires with 95% thread for a great deal. Upon further research, I found out the military is destroying all the Wrangler MT/R tires that are over 5 years due to sidewall blowout. I canceled my order and don't want anyone else using dangerous tires.

Looks like fun times. Glad to see you out enjoying your rig. Those videos make it seem very smooth and quiet. What approx. speed would you say you were driving in those clips?

When towing I was doing 65 uphill and 70 on flats. When we left the trailer at the park, we did 75 to 80+ easy. It smoked a bit at that elevation but exceeded my expectations when it came to performance. I'm convinced it's got more power than my 3rd gen Tacoma. The temps fluctuated between 200 and 215 , so I can see it being an issue in the summer .

100 miles from home. Need best advice.

I saw what looks like coolant leaking and figured it from my heater. When messing around under the truck I noticed the bolt was loose so of course, I tried to tighten it which cause it to break. I'm about 100 miles from home with no real tools other than sockets. How can I secure the idler shaft on there and not grenade the transfer case?

Looks like the drops are coolant. Can you track where they are coming from?

If you have a cell phone you can use a gps app for your speed in case your speedo cable breaks.

speedo cable broke, using gps for speed.

What about the coolant? Was that a concern too?

Just saw you verbiage, it didn't come through the first time I saw it.

The coolant is a secondary concern at the moment. I think it's from the heater lines, but right now I need to figure out this bolt first.

What about some creative magic with a rachet strap to hold the shaft in?

Or... if you can work that bolt out with what you have you can probably steal a bolt from somewhere else on the truck that will fit.

Good ol' toyota steel. I've snapped plenty of toyota bolts.
