This is my view. It doesn’t block the rear view mirror at all. But my mirror is not stock. @Jczajka

no, Make 6 V4 - the dual USB/Switch remade to remove the switch and add a storage pocket like the LC has just add the dual USB to the top of it.

A place to put my earbuds/knife

here are my fine art skills

It is doable. The pocket won’t be too deep.
There is only about two inches down there.

Thanks, I'll reach out if I want to go that route

Very impressed on your designs and even more on the speed you have these ready to order!!

I am ordering a dozen of the 120V outlet harnesses so you guys don’t need to purchase separately. This is the harness for the 120V outlet (85530-35050-C0) which works with Make 7 V2. I will let you know when I get them.

Any idea on how the harness hooks up in the Lx470?

Forgive me for being a novice..

How about a storage cubby or drawer to fit a phone that would replace the ashtray in the front? Something that would give a bit more space sideways, and not have all the "ashtray specific" stuff? Don't know if this is possible, but I think it might be?

I like this idea.

Something similar with your idea is coming soon.

For Make 7 V2, I have purchased 20 harnesses for the 120V outlet (85530-35050-C0) from this link. Currently the seller is only selling the harness as a kit with other stuff that you don't need.

The harness:

The harness fits this 120V outlet (85530-35050-C0).

I purchased at $10 each. If you want one with your order on Make 7 V2, I will include it for $10.

I'll take one of the Make 7s, plus the harness. What's the process for getting the details worked out? PM?

It didn't block the mirror, but I could see the bottom of the Scangauge in the mirror when I looked into it. I should have phrased that better. It wasn't much and I usually didnt notice, but wanted to mention it. You mount protrudes more than my makeshift mount did. Probably a personal thing based on height and seat position of the driver though.

I will try to recess the scangauge more.

@BenCC how large of a piece can you 3D print? I've been wanting to remove my subwoofer enclosure and replace the mesh cover and ashtray panel with a charging/power station: a couple of 120V outlets, a bank of switch holes for USB chargers/switches and a place to mount a battery monitor. The backside would be used for mounting a charge controller and/or inverter.

I did something similar. I removed the subwoofer, attached magnets to the subwoofer cover, mounted a piece of plywood and all my components just inside. I can pull off the cover and see the components as needed. I initially only mounted a power post, and fuse panel, but later added my solar charger controller.

Adding wireless charging capability would be a huge win. A guy on Audizine forum 3D printed a really slick ashtray replacement that simply had a wireless charger attached underneath.
