2000 LX470 build: help needed.

Hi all,
After 3 years of ownership to this 2000 LX470, I am READY do some real off road modification.

First batch order:
1. Metal Tech Rock Sliders
2. ARB Sahara Deluxe Bumper

Second batch order:
3. Warn VR EVO 10-s Winch (103253)
4. ARB Compressor (just the old brushed single for now)
5. BFGoodrich KO3 295/75R16 Tires
6. Bump-stops: Timbren Active Off-Road for rear, and Timbren SES for front
7. Whelan Engineering Pioneer Micro LED lights (3), some StrobeNmore LED light bars for front and back.

Third one :
8. ARB Safari Snorkel Armax
9. Midland MXT500 GMRS radio & 6db antenna

Any other suggestions to make this truck off-road worthy?

Progress Updates:
Install the ARB bumper and the WARN winch, still need to connect the electrical wires.
The bumper is good, but the ARB lights are junk (very cheaply made) , the only reason i went with them is for compatibility, but i need to look for a better ones now.
The winch is high so i need to relocate the winch control box, for now I ziptied it to the side, anyone has a better idea?

I have the same winch and it’s technically under powered. But when used properly with a snatch block, it’s more than adequate. That said, I’ve yet to even install mine, I am just familiar with them in the field and use on our fleet at work. We are usually using some form of the EVO series.

Thanks whitec13, i don't know much about these, but the shop recommend this since it fix in the ARB bumper.
if I want something bigger, it needs to fix in the ARB bumper. thanks.

Depends on what trails and type you're taking it on.

start with a) tires, b) suspension lift (<= 2"), c) traction boards, d) communications. that should get you 99.9% of places vs 90% in stock.

I have a 2000 LX470 also. Didn't see it mentioned but I have a full set of BIOR skid plates on mine. Mike put them on for me. They're heavy but weren't that expensive and i've never had to take them off for service.

so after some more reading on the forum, I decided and ordered the following:
3. Warn VR EVO 10-s Winch (103253)
4. ARB Compressor (just the old brushed single for now)
5. Falken Wildpeak A/T4W or BFGoodrich KO3 285/75R18 (need to do the mod described in this forum first before going to a local tire shop)
6. bump-stops: Timbren active off rear, and Timbren ses front
7. Whelan Engineering Pioneer Micro LED lights (3), some StrobeNmore LED light bars for front and back.

Installed the bumper and winch last Friday night, and went to Pismo Sand Dunes in the wk (bought my 1/6 RC scale crawler with me as well )

Looks great, i went to Pismo once, it was so cool . Nothing like that on the east coast
