ARB will send you a new part for that .. but it likely will take 5 or 6 months to get it. I had one of those plastic parts break and it was 5 or 6 months to get it,

For what it’s worth, ARB sent a set of hold-open parts to me in just 4 days.

But... I have actually decided to leave the hold-open device for drawers off as itallows me to access the extreme rear of the drawer more easily. Floor hold open...on...Drawers off. Drawers stay open onTheir own because of my particular setup.

I spotted this release from ARB and figured I'd post it here. It looks like this unit is too long for the 200-series, but it's cool to see how ARB is expanding their drawer line-up.

They must of had it in stock. If they have the part in stock yes you get it right away. If not it can take a long time. They are good about it an do not forget.

Can the anchor bolts for the ARB drawers use the existing four D-ring bolts holes in the rear cargo area, or do they have to use bolt locations from the removed 3rd row seats?

The reason I ask is I have a 2020 Heritage Edition and do not have the 3rd row seats/hardware. I have the four D-rings, but that's it for existing anchoring locations. I've done several hours of research and was not able to confirm this.

Also, are the hat sections fairly adjustable? I'm thinking if the existing D-ring locations do not line up, I may be able to adjust the hat sections and possible drill new holes in the hat to match the existing d-ring bolts.
Any updates on this? Did you end up purchasing/installing?

I’m looking at the ARB drawers for my HE and have the same question about fit/mounting.

Thank you. That’s helpful.

Not really the answer I was hoping for. And not sure I have the stones to drill into a new vehicle with less than 1k miles on it.

It does take a leap of faith to drill in to that shiny new body..
ARB provides (at least with mine) templates to locate the nuts..
I did document with pics to help others.
Trying to use the existing tie down bolts will not work so well.
Not in right position and too small of bolts to secure the drawer.

Yup. I think we've won over a few customers with the SS1 strictly because of this feeling. We make a point to keep installation tied to only the existing factory locations. I'm not sure why some of the big names don't put a little more effort into doing the same.

$90k brand new car and drilling/cutting holes don't jive for many folks.

Assuming that you are committed to a modification, impacts to the warranty should be the only real concern with modifying a vehicle shortly after buying it. Put differently, unless you are still evaluating your options, once you decide what you want, why would you wait? Waiting simply delays your ability to enjoy the benefits of the modification. For example, I swapped out the springs, shocks, and UCAs on mine at the 6k mile mark, and the only reason I waited that long was because my garage is unheated and I didn't want to freeze my butt off doing the swap. I did suck up the cold and put on sliders at maybe the 3-4k mile mark and after pulling off the OEM steps and saw just how cheesy they are I was glad I did.

Personally, modifications/swaps are one thing. Drilling holes in sheet metal in hopes of locating a welded nut on the other side is a huge leap of faith I'm not sure I'm ready to partake in. I'm not saying I'm completely ruling it out. Just that the solution is far from ideal to me personally.

Maybe contact a cruiser mechanic in your area about doing this for you. . .

Not that big a leap.. It's a inconspicuous location and there are templates available that tell you exactly where to drill.

Now cutting a fender for a snorkel. That's a leap of faith.

The trick to cutting a fender for a snorkel is to load up on cutting fluid before you drill. Bourbon, preferably.

Looks great !

As much as I hate to admit it... I got mine through 4wheel parts.

You got this through a 4WP scratch and dent sale? I'm planning on two rdrf1045s. Looks like the going rate at Slee and 4WP is right at $1k ea. I'd love to find a local distributor though because I'm guessing shipping aint cheap.

Can anyone comment on if it's easy or hard to vacuum their dog's hair off these drawers?

Because some of our designs existed before the HE Edition, and the 10mm seat mounting points are better/stronger mounts.

Finding the threaded holes is easy. If anyone is nervous- just get a competent shop to do it for you. Takes about 10 minutes.

I got y drawers on ebay think they were about $700 or $750, but I could not find the 200FitKit which is the side of the boxes on ebay so I ordered that from SLEE.

The dog hair is easy, I use one of those portable vacuums Dyson V10 with the bare floor large roller, which we use around the house. Sweeps it right off fast.

Hadn't thought of ebay.

Good to hear on the dog hair. We have a dyson stick vacuum and it gets it out of my truck just fine. But my previous vehicle had different carpet and it was a bitch to clean.

Trail buddies tease me for keeping a Dyson vac charged in my truck....but it really does work wonders when you get tired of grit & crud everywhere.
