thanks bill! can't wait to see yours done. The DMV in connecticut is open on the 26th so when I go home for christmas I'm hoping to get it registered and all that. I'll take some pics of it in the monsterous amount of snow thats going to be on the ground

Holla at me when you can. The next time I am in Columbus (Dad lives there) we can get together.

Later,

I was sitting here thinking huh I don't see any of Antfj's post he must be on a FJ-less vacation like I was............. Boy was I wrong!!!!!!!

Antfj all I can say is YOU'RE THE MAN!

you know it!!! so far i've got about 200 miles on the rebuild... everything works great!!

i've got two issues that i haven't had time to work out

1. sometimes the brake lights ground through the left blinker causing it not to blink when taking a left turn

2. when i push in the clutch i have to push pretty hard on the shifter to get it into a gear but once it goes in i can shift freely between the gears. this happens mainly when sitting at a stop light and i take my foot off the clutch with the truck in neutral

anyways my brother and i will be heading down from CT to MS from 11 March to 14 March - wish us luck!

AntFJ - Fantastic. Love the split rear swingers with the soft-top frames. I have questions, but should read through the whole thread before I ask. Beautiful work.

Dave

damn you have done alot of work... i just skimmed through love the color
do you have the blinkers on the front bib yet? (i just cut holes for mine but one day ill buy a proper bib) are you keeping the big boxy blinkers on the fenders? or whats the plan for that (if you answered that already sry im more inklined to flip through looking @ pictures than taking time to read.... you know how us bama boys dont like that fancy readin stuff:hillbilly:)

hey! i'll have to get back to you tomorrow! definitely a fair amount.. i just realized how much this thread is lacking in pics.... stand by..

Absolutely Beautiful Job........probably the nicest i've seen on this forum.......Congrats!!

thanks guys! well i did the math so far just a year of driving.. with 33'' tires...

OD read 62722 when i first fired her up and now reads 66550 so a total of 3828 miles this year! I'm guessing this is more around 4000 miles because of the lager tires

truck really looks great!

Ok, this has to be one of the best looking 40's I have seen. Great work. I love the color and am planning on my 68 project to be in that color within a couple months.

If I recall correctly, you got your paint from TCP, what kind of paint though? Acrylic Enamel? Also, where did you get the colorant for the Raptor? Did you order from TCP without the binder?

How many quarts will I need to do just the inside of the tub do you think?
