You had a plan, you put that plan into action, and those actions paid off in the end......I look at it this way, one more FJ40 staved from Father Time and the Elements of Mother Nature...........(NEXT)

Congrats!

Cant say enough about this forum and community! I definitely need you guys along for the ride on the next build!

This thread is one of the my favorites here on MUD. It's a perfect showcase of how many Toyota parts are still available, the depth of restoration that can still be performed, the crazy dedication of certain Cruiserheads, and the monetary value placed on a properly done restoration.

For this aspiring 40-owner this thread highlights what "can be" on so many levels.

Fantastic resto... such a pleasant ending couldn't happen to a better builder.

Sscr, how would you rate the Bring a Trailer selling experiance?

I can't wait to see FC187 and George unleashed. Supercharger?

I could not of been happier with my experience with BaT, big thanks by the way. I strongly recommend anyone considering selling a original paint "survivor" to a complete frame off restoration vehicles to use BaT and for any type of vehicle! BaT was fantastic!

No supercharger, but now ya got me thinking ;)

Thanks so much that is an awesome compliment! I cant take credit for this though, I had Georg do all the mechanicals pretty much and a great local muscle car/hot rod guy do the paint. But thanks, I appreciate it!

congrats ... couldn't have happened to a better guy ... you're a great Mudder and always willing to help anyone in need ... I'm looking forward to the next one ...

No thanks are needed, you did all the work. The ebay auctions seemed to have tapered off this spring while the BAT prices have been really good. Where is it going to be living, and is the new owner driving or trailering?

Congrats!!!!! Glad I could be of some help on the '77. Learned SO much on my project by following yours. Your help was invaluable! Looking forward to following your new build....let us know where we can follow it!!

She's leaving home bye, bye....
