It’s the 6 other Cruisers that require the same amount that are collecting dust in my yard. 😂

@Pigeaten the radiator arrived in great shape, thanks I’m glad I at least have something I can work with now.

It’s a ‘78. It would have been a perfect fit if I wasn’t trying to add the fan clutch setup.

The only difference I see was the ‘78 had an overflow bottle.

I did get the interior handle trim today and they fit great, and 2 for $15 made it even better.

Well, learned something today, I bought two wiper arms from a 76 55, and found they aren’t the same as a ‘78. It looks like ‘77 to ‘80 would be the same, again back to the drawing board.

I did get the dash put back together, I found LED’s to replace every dash bulb. I’m really happy with the results. I also painted the needles and refreshed the gauges while they were out.

So since I still haven’t been able to find replacement wipers for my year I decided to merge some good used 40 series inner arms with my 55’s outer bars, worked great should be a permanent fix. You can see the wallowed out hole that made the original ones no longer work. 60 series, along with 40’s, have the same size mounting hole as the later 55.

Luckily I had the bar for lowering the tire, although it was cut in half. Pretty simple repair, but another step done.

Nice repair on the handle. I'm sure you already know this but that handle can also be used for cranking the engine. Not that anyone with a battery would ever want to do so.
Yeah, I watched a video once where someone did that, I might try this one day just for fun to see if I can get it to work. Maybe I’ll video it so everyone can laugh. 😁

Please don't. A broken wrist from a crank handle ( known as a Chauffeurs fracture) is a really painful experience. One that can limit the range of motion, feeling and sensitivity years after. I know this because it happened to me with a 1929 Chrysler and would hate to see it happen to someone else.

LED Info...........
This is misleading...
"This bulb is dim-able using a variable DC power source such as a dimmer knob on your dashboard"

This is the clue..
"This bulb works from 9V to 17V with the ideal voltage 12V DC."

If your car or truck is equipped with LED bulbs from the factory that are connected to a PWM dimmer switch then these replacement bulbs will be dimmable. If you are replacing standard incandescent bulbs with these LED’s then the factory dimmer will not work. These bulbs will stay on until the voltage drops below 9 Volts then turn off, the light output will only slightly vary between min and max voltage.
If dimmable is important to you then you might want to dig in and confirm before you put everything back together.
