I'm looking to clear driveway space by getting rid of my project pig. I've stripped it down, only missing a tailgate. Was going to part it out and scrap the frame and front axle. Seems like a shame to scrap a frame that is titled however. I started thinking I should reach out to the community here and offer the whole thing for what I have in it, which isn't much. Do you guys think its smarter to try and sell my doors and glass and other parts and scrap what I can't sell, or offer it up as a project in pieces with title? At the end of the day id like to get my initial 500 bucks out of it, not sure what the best road to take is.

Its a 69 fj55, sat on a farm\ hunting lease forever. Bad rust to the roof and roof structure so I removed the roof, welded in new structure. The tub is basically shot unless someone really had the metal work skills to put in new A pillars and a whole roof. Doors and side glass are good, I was workin on grafting on a 40 windshield to avoid the ol chop top.

I'm just not sure what direction to go, part it out or sell it "whole". Any advice is welcome.

Pictures please. Will help all decipher what you should do. Plus Chris is almost out of :pig: parts :). So it would help.

Thanks Bob.

P.S. Chris just messin with you:)

Ill get some more pics of it up tommorow, it has a pretty neat bumper set on it, tow bar.

Where are you located?

Just don't show it to Delancy! :)

At least this one has a valid title.....

Quite the contrary. I have an abundance of Pig parts, from engines, panels, doors, glass, to little pieces.....some of which might finish the Pig in questions shell.

If someone winds up with this Pig, I do have a mid-model rear tailgate for it.

I'm in a similar boat to the OP, regarding the 71 that's chopping up for the 72, and in prudence for posterity, thinking of stripping the frame bare, taking tires from axles, strapping to frame and standing on it's side, since it's titled and VINs match.

Save a little space by condensing, offer all the other incidentals to others, but can't give away right now, and running out of time to store.

It's not worth much of anything now, but who can say that it can't be used in the future?

Rest of everything is expendable. I doubt there will be many future generations that'll be building from the frame up, using Fs or many other OE components, considering how hard they are to find now.

Let me know about parts I live in ball Louisiana and could make a drive over their...

If you are gonna drive all the way here, you should take the whole thing.......8)

I'll take passenger side front door glass if you part it out. Don't need wing window, just main piece.
