A journey with my boys- The Elf Barn as I call it.

Yep, designed for laying pipeline. Raymond Fabricators used them for hauling long pipe pile sections around their yard in Biloxi, MS. The photo shows them moving a 5-foot diameter steel pipe pile - more than 200 feet long. And they were traveling at over 20 mph!

I haven’t heard of them. I’m using the EZ Chassis Swap system. I’m happy with the fitment so far. The front bumper brackets have required a good deal of work. But the system was designed for a 1/2 ton swap and I’m on a 3/4 chassis. So not entirely a manufacturing issue.

Keep posting pictures 😉

We had wrench day with one of @Cowboy45 high school buddies who is a great gearhead. We got a lot done together. We hit the Chevy 3100 build after we got the S10 frame bead blasted. Stripped all the body panels, ripped off the unecessary cross cross members on the s10. Rivets everywhere. Conquered that with @SipLife while the other two separated the panels. Weather was a cool 90deg.

We fed the boys as well. Got to know @Cowboy45 friend over a meal. Great kid! Can do, grit, knows his tools, positive attitude to address the surprises. Great parents clearly.

Good job to all hands. CD who do you buy your old Chevy parts from? If you haven’t used Seth Doulton yet at Quality Classic Parts, you should give him a try. His number is 805-896-1548. He has been buying and selling old Chevy parts for decades. He used to own Golden State Pickup Parts a long time ago. Tell him I sent you.

Horizontal surfaces are a blessing and a curse! This was a chore long overdue. It was zen working with @Cowboy45 putting stuff away and glazing the table (10W30 and torch heat). Roof has a tiny drip and causes some rust. Gave it the old hot wok treatment to see how it holds up. We listened to some great country music (Willie, waylen, cash, jamie johnson, zach brown). Temps were breezy and lower 80s). One of many organizations done. On to the next.

The final piece of equipment came together quickly. @SipLife and I did some serious research and hunt. Many are abused. It arrived today. Low hour KX080-4RSA Super Series 2. Kubota serviced and owned its whole life. Seat time next.

:princess: Likes her tools organized and clean. We try not to borrow from this stash….if we can. She spent the morning resetting the deck.
