Its ready to mall crawl or at the least a good Zombie get away rig.o_O
Looks good, but those hex head screws though... :hmm: dome top button heads would look much better.
Im digging the skirtless look, silver is my thing, thinking for me if I ever de-clad, I'll just buying some of that color match rattle can paint.

Whats up with the radiator?

I agree that smooth bolts would be better, but that's not what I have on hand so I'll use what I've got.

For the radiator, I'm wondering if the cap is bad as I drove it a lot yesterday with no issues...

I figured it was what you hand, you're a Get-R-Done kind of guy.
Was the cap new?

Nope...new radiator old cap. My theory is that the cap is somehow blocking fluid from going back to the reservoir and it is spilling out ..now I wonder if that was the problem the whole time:)

I'm trying to cancel am order for the 16400-66040 which is a 3 row brass core, used 93-94. Then I'll get a cap and see where we're at.

Just a great reminder...test test test.

Hopefully I’ll finish the prep tomorrow and paint on Sunday. Never done any bodywork or painted before, but since it is monstaliner, how hard can it be (famous last words).

Once you go pink you'll never go back.

Well.I always forget how much time it takes to get ready to paint. Between disassembly and masking it is a lot of effort.

I think I've got everything except for the hood vents off and ready to go I was going to paint today but there's too much chance of rain.

Getting the rear door handles off is a pain in the butt.

I took the main racks off to paint but I'm going to put them back on

I think I'm going to paint the mirrors and the handles black. I might use sem black anybody have any better ideas for paint?

The radiator is one part I didn’t want to skimp on and just got the oem TRAD radiator.

Ok, I have got to redo a bit and then I'm gonna spray some epoxy primer and BAM! Ready for the topcoat.

I can't wait to go wheeling...

Ah, saw that you didn't go with the pink liner... she would of been one of a kind :pig:...

ok, time for an update, got the truck painted and learned a ton. If you’re going to use monstaliner for the first time, ping me and I’ll happily share what I learned. It came out ok, but if I were to do it again, I could do better.

I painted all the trim black with sem, love that stuff.

i think the mirrors came out pretty good...

the texture isn’t perfect, but like I said earlier, now with a little experience under my belt I could produce a better outcome. With that said though, it’s a truck and I dig it!

Ok, all back together sitting on 37’s, no spacers and a slinky 75mm lift. Now, time to go rub all that purdy paint off on rocks.

Dooh...the door latch mechanism on the passenger rear door broke (actually I think it was the retainer clip so the bar popped out) AND the child safety lock is on, so I can't open the door. Hmmm...do I cut through the door handle or the door panel, which of course neither can be removed with the door closed:(

Anybody got an extra rear passenger door handle?
