.... the pics ...... may not be the best installation since this was the first set of car seats I had ever done. But I'm happy! :)

Great looking install...did you do the third row as well? Any advice, I am just about to do the same thing...and pretty excited about the pending results. I need to discuss a few things with Shane and figure my final cost...still thinking through a few things before I pull the trigger.

I did not do the 3rd row. My existing ones are still in really good shapeand I will very rarely have them in the vehicle.

-Advice:
-Only take one seat apart at a time - that way if you don't remember how it is supposed to look - you can reference the other seat! Came in handy for me during reassembly.
-Patience is a virtue. I took my time and did not tear anything.
-A good set of regular and curved hog ring pliers will be your best friend for this job.
-Hind sight being 20/20 - I would go ahead and by the driver seat cushion. My was OK - but might as well put the new one in there while your at it so you don't have to tear the seats down in another couple of years....

Lastly - sit back and enjoy the nice new car smell!!!

two tone w/ perforated inserts

Just got mine back from the shop, pretty satisfied for the price.

I really like the color combo I picked. I wasn't sure about it when I picked it but now that it's done, I really like the dark middle w/ the lighter sides. The pics don't show it well, but the darker leather is almost a perfect match to the dash. I also spent the extra money on new seat cushions from Cdan. This cost me $1100 (leather) + $300 (seat foam) = for $1400 out the door. It would have been a little less without the perforated inserts.

Aatlas, just out of curiosity, how long have you been doing seat covers? They are incredibly impressive. Here's to hoping you are still doing them when I have the $$$ to throw at you!

I have been offering them for years, I sell quite a few a month, here is the link for the LX450 LX450 leather replacement

The biggest plus coming from me is consistency of the product. Look at the stitching lines on mine, there are dead on parallel. They are also exact reproduction and the leather is now cut by computer with a router as my sales have justified this and they are no longer hand cut. There is much more that what you see on the top side. Its how its built underneath with the listing, having fabric behind all french stitching to strengthen them, attachment points and so on.

As far as perf, I am not a fan as everything gets in those holes and the hide starts to pull through the holes like hair and it bothers me. Being that I am constantly outdoors it does not for for my lifestyle. In sports cars it does work, but also remember that what ever in on your jeans or hands gets into those holes and aint coming out.

Another issue is cleaning, as the holes pull in what ever is spilled on them is now inside of them.

just my .02

AATLAS1X, you are welcome to use my pics though I didn't buy this kit from you. As you can see the stiching is not perfectly straight. I'm sure the quality of the stuff isn't as good as yours, but I couldn't beat the price and I didn't want to mess with it. I've already started saving to do it again as I plan on having it done ever 8 years or so, it's easier to save $15 a month than blow $1400 at one time. The reason I went with the perforated stuff is that it's hotter than crap here and the perforated stuff helps a little. I also like the look. For wheeling, I have some disposable seat covers to use.

Not what I meant, I know more that most the value of a dollar. Plus you did not have to do the install and I can tell you that some dont think it is an issue. I however wont do it at all, for me its a nightmare to install leather. Then when you do it yourself you find out that WOW the seats are out so lets start detailing the inside and so on..

About the perf and two tone, I as a vendor do not recommend it and some have twisted my arm to get things their way and those are like you and going to on it forever.

Me I have found out that I want to find another as I cannot stand the tan with my lifestyle and really want the dark gray interior. I toss gear in mine and my lab has full run, I just never noticed in my F150 SC with gray interior how dirty it really was.

Good idea, I'll give ya $5k for that old, high mile, worn out rig.
