Don't worry too much Roger, Kevin likes doing mock ups. Kevin, Roger is right. I wouldn't do any more mock ups until the motor is in place. The clearances are very tight.

I plan on setting it down on the frame to make sure the clearances are good. But it's a fairly shallow unit and I don't anticipate any fitment problems. The unit extends 10 inches from the firewall at its farthest point.

Ha! It's been so long I had forgotten that I built you a 1bbl carb.

Mark,

Since I was going with the stock motor, a solid carb was my first investment. Mine originally came with a non OEM carb (I think someone threw something it in to show it came with a carb....haha). I did test run the engine and the carb you rebuilt worked like a charm !!!!! Thanks.

The Cruiser is on its way to the paint shop. 2 trailers full of cruiser parts. They are going to media blast, fine tune the panels and give it a nice epoxy primer. Once its back in my shop I plan to assemble it and install the seat brackets, rollbar, roof rack, sliders and misc. engine compartment work. I want to make sure everything fits properly before committing to paint.

Parts hanging around at the body shop. It's amazing how many small holes from the PO surface. I think there were curtain rods hanging on the back window.
