I've done a little bit of digging but most posts are from a handful of years ago (or more); I'm looking to upgrade my OEM mirrors on my 60 to the larger OEM mirrors from a 62. Looking to go with the Chrome finish and wanted to get takes on which option was the best quality. I've read some issues on the Cruiser Corps ones being flimsy and vibrating.

Obviously going OEM is going to be the best quality (and the most expensive), but outside of OEM, what are people liking/recommending for 62 Chrome mirrors?

Options I'm seeing are below; guessing the majority of the Amazon/eBay ones are from the same manufacturers.

Cool Cruisers

Amazon

SOR

Anything else out there, any to recommended (or avoid)?

Thanks for the help.

Thanks

some of the aftermarket ones have a passenger side that is regular mirror like the driver side

I know these aren't the 62 mirrors but I have these on my 60 and they've been pretty good for the price. A little shaky at highway speeds, but not bad at all. I like that the bases are metal just like the OEM ones. I'd buy them again in a heartbeat.

@3_puppies not sure I quite follow what you're trying to say here. Could you elaborate?

Thanks @yotadude520 - I've seen those before but really like the look of the 62 mirrors better.

I've still got the idea in the back of my head to adapt a pair of heated FJ Cruiser mirrors to the 60/62 doors. Wiring shouldn't be too difficult I imagine; just a matter of matching the right leads to the motors and wiring leads to use the lights as either markers or turn signals.

The real task would be measuring, designing, 3D printing, test fitting and a decent amount of trial and error getting adapters made up that would hold the mirrors level.

I run these on my 62 and love them.

There are other threads on this, but City Racer's manual OEM chrome mirrors are great. I have had a set installed for 10 years and love them. I don't miss the power adjust at all - I rarely/never adjust them. These have Toyota quality and don't vibrate or shake. Identical in outward appearance to the factory power mirrors.

No affiliation, just a happy customer.

I forgot you are doing this on a 60, mute point as the 60 passenger side is a regular mirror
stock 62's, the passenger mirror is "newer" and has the objects in mirror are closer than they appear logo
aftermarket replacements don't have this mirror, just a regular mirror like the driver side
