I watched a bunch of videos. Sharp blade, steady hand and lots of prep work on the windows. My job was no where near a professional quality, but not too bad for a first time. Plus there's few if any items on my cruiser I would call professional quality haha

I was on the fence about tinting since it changes the stock look. Summer in Houston changed my mind.
I ended up First Cut 75% light transmission (FCB-IR 75) Nano Ceramic and I’m very happy with it. Car temps are down and it looks reasonably stock.
The tint has a blue/gray color tone which works well with a gray blue interior.
I did the WINDSHIELD as well, that technically exceeds state tint level requirements for tint but.....
I ordered extra material from the installer in case I crack the windshield, have a break or a cop makes me razor blade it off in at some point down the road.

$800-1000 for ALL the windows is pretty fair. It's about 3x more to do Crystalline vs. regular tint. Hard to justify spending a G for tint but it's worth it. Just make sure if you're going to do it that if it's time for a new front windshield, you do it before hand.

This is the best pic I have of the Crystalline 90....remember, this stuff is virtually clear but in certain lights you'll see a very faint blue. All windows in this truck are done in 90. It's very very hard to get accurate pics of the tint....lighting plays a lot of games with it. I personally love the 90 because I don't care for tint...this stuff is perfect for me.

I think on a 60 it would be just about perfect....kind of has an OEM look to it.

Thread resurrection. Based on this, I decided to do 3M Crystalline 90 on my 60. I’m not doing the windshield yet, but probably will in the near future. I was quoted $550 from Custom Sounds to do it on all windows except the windshield. Another $280 for the windshield. I’m excited about how it turns out. I love the clear look.

Now just need to figure why my A/C won’t blow very cold.

Do the windshield. It's nice to keep that UV off the dash so it doesn't crack. Pricing seems really fair. You'll love it.

Hey Nick... Bring the cruiser up to @CenTXFJ60 (Jimmy’s Barn) sometime and we’ll put the gauges on and charge the system.

Alright here it is. Really can’t tell there’s film on it. There are small 3M logos all around it. They said to bring it back after it’s cured and they’ll remove them with alcohol. This is the most money I’ve spent on a single item for this rig. I’m pretty happy with it and I can definitely tell a difference with the heat.

That looks great! I’m still hoping to go this route too. In Seattle it’s much more expensive though :/. I love that you can’t really tell it’s on there.

I got mine done....I think it was around $350-400...I would have to go back and look. Really cuts down on the heat transmission. They even did the front windshield. You cant really tell except when I am hunting at night and someone tries to shine a flashlight from the inside out....then you can really tell. Below is the pic of when I picked it up from the tint shop.

I understand the heat. Been in south Texas all my life and on the coast for the first half. The crystalline technology is impressive. Cuts out the heat while keeping the classic look.

My rig before I took the dark tint off:
