looks like mine is 50116, meaning January 16, 1985 if I understand the code correctly.

sorry for the delayed response, was at east coast gear supply having air lockers and the gears lowered to 4.88’s.

im digging around looking for the right numbers, will post info find it.....

2F-889369. I think that makes mine the youngest? Did I win a prize? Build date is July of 1987. I think I read somewhere that the last FJ60 rolled off the line in August of 1987...

My pretty original ‘10/78 has a engine number: 2F 317404. My brothers ‘3/76 has an engine number 2F 339135. We are pretty certain the original motor is not with the ‘76, I am guessing the Motor in it is from somewhere between ‘10/78 and January 1979. Anyone have any input on this? Thanks.

2F 317349 is November '78, 2F 339011 is December '78. The 2F in my '76 FJ40 (original engine) is 2F 056815 and the transplanted 2F in my '71 FJ40 is 2F 067849.

But prod number of engine is 2F 325728.

The part number is 11411 61011. But on top of block on the deck I can make out the number 61010. Edit, just realised these are part numbers.

is anyone able to please help connect the dots in terms of timing?
