Curious what others are getting for 0-60 time of the 2f. If you can post up your time along with specific details of the cruiser. Ex. tire size, year, aftermarket bumpers, transmission, rpm your shifting at, elevation, diff gears, carb type, efi, aftermarket cam, etc. Maybe even a pic of your truck. Figure this info could help people see if they need to perform a tune up or adjustments to get the motor running its best.

My baby has been getting a little bit better than 8 minutes flat. After removing the carbon fiber bush guard bumper, which wasn't OEM, I was able to shave off another full minute. The aftermarket Recaro racing seats nicely help with the increased G-force produced from that less weight.

My FJ62 with a freshly built 2FE and A440F (with Wholesale Auto upgraded valvebody) would do 0-100km/hr in just under 16 seconds. :meh:

2F bottom end (balanced, pistons coated), 3FE head (with flow work, larger valves and coated chambers), 3FE intake, exhaust and EFI, delta 262* cam, .....

You guys need to do some tuning on those engines! I can run 70+ all day if I wanted to. 60 is about all I ever push it when I'm on the highway, maybe 65.

Rebuilt mighty 2F, JimC rebuilt NON-US carb, recurved dissy, KC ground cam from Delta Cam, COMPLETLEY desmogged.
4 speed trany, J30 transfer case, worn out 33x12.5 rubbers that measure out at 30.5".

I've never timed my 0-60 speed but I know I can get on the road in a hurry if there are fish rising.

This is a joke, right............ Its about the journey, not the time!

I raced a self propelled lawnmower yesterday.

And how did you feel handing over the pink slip?..... :flipoff2:

As for the question @White Stripe asked: My rebuilt 2F with Toyota parts, bored a bit, new cam, the Jim C rebuilt '77 high altitude OEM carb, running 32x11.50's will get me to 60 around the 16 second mark, give or take a second or two. But I never really pushed it thru the gears, and I was headed down an On Ramp.

As for the 60 MPH, I routinely get it there, and over, almost every day.

Wait a second...the top speed isn't 45 MPH...???
