Hi everybody,
I'm recently doing a valveseat job on my 1978 2F head. Headnumber 61031, wide combustion chambers. Seats and valves are in very bad shape caused by unleaded fuel over the last 30 years...
I'm wondering about the standart height of the seats. I mean, of course one can measure the actual depth of the old ones, but considerung the wear on 'em it's probably not the best idea...
unfortunately, I couldn't find any info about it neither in the manual from 1980, nor in the other from 1977! Only the height of the stem guides is shown, but nothing about the valveseats. Any hints or profound information about it in the US ? Cruisergreets from Germany, Felix
