Wire floor #2 update

After a good search and many phone calls to Australia Yard! I've been pointed out to South Africa where more 1HZ is sold and still currently used! After posting on Overland Africa! Lizette picked up my post and helped me find a few Vendors that could source the Wiring Loom HZJ78 Rear #8216260123

After talking with Toyota ultimate4x4.co.za said they could get them to produce one and this would take 30+ days! I Sent the payment and will be very very surprised if this comes to fruition!

Meantime rebuilding the rear brake with new calipers, tammer terrain pads will install later this week!

After a long debate in my head, I decided to pull the ELOCKER out and replace them with 2 new Front and rear carriers! I prefer having some latitude when around the world if anything breaks. Eaton was not very helpful with the little part we lost during the assembly and for other reasons I feel it's better to stay OEM
I have not decided if I will use the Locker on another build or not back-lash needs to be done first!

I finished remounting everything needed to bleed the brakes and then go for a spin if not too much snow.

I am still chasing a USED second-hand wire floor Toyota part number # 82161-60237

I was wondering if any of you guys have feedback on this clutch & flywheel

Dissapointed to hear that you didn't like the E-Locker. Are you going with OEM lockers with the new carriers or just open?

Open carriers because the Dwizz housing is not made for OEM locker (Studs are positioned differently)

This will do the job 100% I am not after climbing glay hills.... main concern was reliability and service!

I have not tried that specific clutch, but I would be suspect with that price with it including a flywheel. I have had great success with the following 4Terrain HD:

You were planning to turbo this as well correct? After around 10,000km I have not had any slippage or issues with this clutch, even with pulling the trailer. Just make sure you specify the Heavy Duty one.

Yes Chromoly flywheel and it's the heavy-duty one made by blusteel

I feel better to know that the troop carrier is drivable I did a small run here in my street… no leak lights are working 95% but sub tank indicator not working

Will start to install the winch and front bumper this week

Jan you say the post? On the troopy group ?
I didn't see the post, I'm not a member of the FB group since I don't have a personal FB.
And my laughter is mostly awe for your dedication - yeah, the fuel tank cap area gets dusty, but I haven't met anyone who cares about it!! ;-)

hahaha I see! I know here we don't have much dusty desert or savanna but in Africa, owners are complaining they get dust in the fuel. I looking into this :P

Should get the connectors from DHL shortly if you navigate through the site it's possible to get the terminal already crimped on the proper wire and + the same size as the OEM Toyota too since this is JAPAN Measurement.

Basically, my option right now as I planned to use the LC79 wire floor and wire floor#2 (NEW) I need to convert some plugs to hooks I have all the male connector to match too
  1. The rear wiper + juice
  2. SUB TANK
  3. DEFROST both side
  4. Dome and cargo light
  5. REAR FOG LIGHT
The rear lights work, Still need to get the ground to be more stable

We continued to building the frame for the cabinets we inverted to Zero fridge openings
Next step will be to get some 1/4 flat bar to make the mounting brackets into the floor and frame
