Hey y'all, two days ago I encountered some shifting issues (HZJ78 R151F) and hobbled into a shop in Bozeman, MT (Overland Cruisers). They did some digging around and it's looking like I'm in need of either a trans rebuild or a new trans. Previous owners had it rebuilt at 100k and the truck's currently at 365k. The guys at Overland Cruisers happen to have a H55 with a 1HZ bellhousing laying around. They seem up to the task of trying to modify/build a crossmember to make it fit. Though, after doing some light perusing here I'm seeing there may be issues with the coil over pan hard rods interfering with where the crossmember would have to be moved to for the H55...
Wondering if anyone successfully figured out this crossbar issue?
