So I didn’t mention it before but the HDJ78/79 power steering pump fitting was up against the steering box.

I don’t have a good pic of it in the truck, it’s the black fitting in these pics.

We have a HDJ100 power steering pump and it’s fitting seems like the go.

Set the injection pump timing, got to love just putting it to zero on an FTE.

So for the H152 5spd we needed to move the trans crossmember forward about 2”. We cut the stock mount off the frame and welded them back on. The holes are there in the bottoms of the frame rails for the outer mount but the nuts are not welded in these holes so we welded some in.

The frame side engine mounts were a bit scratched up so gave them a fresh coat of paint.

Tomorrow we plan to stuff the power train back in for the final time.

Stuffed it all back in today after some prep to the engine, got most of the things taken care of before stuffing that are a pita after the fact.

I have not ran the part number but I do believe the new tcase is from a 100-series. So we changed out the shifter linkage for HDJ80 stuff.

This thing is going to be awesome. Possibly one of the best 80 in the US.
