What's your technique for cleaning off old caked-on dirt like that?
I believe those have been NLA for a whileIan, wow, looking great. Are you going to install the fender apron insulators while this is getting cleaned up?

If Onur can find them we should.

There was a thread maybe month ago? Someone found a decent aftermarket version of them.
You wouldn't happen to have a part number handy for that would you? This is the new firewall insulator which will replace my original one.
I don't think @bhicks does anything that large with BH3D, but perhaps he may know someone reputable in the industry?Anyone have a recommendation for a 3D printer company?I don’t know how well this manual shift console can be printed but I’d like to at least speak to someone and explore it.
Is that the final location of the ABS bracket ( due to the PDI intercooler ) , mine interferes with the steering box due to the same intercooler. See you moved it to another side of chassis.
I know absolutely nothing about 3D printing so that’s why I’m wanting to find this out. At this point, we are pretty pregnant on this item as it is essential and I’m not really ready to settle for something dumb. If 3D printing won’t work then we can eliminate that option. We have considered fabricating the top portion as you mentioned. I have a fair amount of the matching Scheelmann leather material that could be used as well. Just evaluating options. Anything is on the table.3D printed console is gonna look like crap.
If you cant locate an original one, you're going to be far better off taking the A/T console to a place that does fiberglass work and modifying it for the manual shifter boots. The only difference between the A/T and manual console is the top "plate" that the shifters go through. It's essentially a flat piece of plastic with a couple of big holes in it. I imagine it would be super easy to modify the A/T console into a manual one.
