H152f swap kit, back40imports, comes with pretty much everything except the clutch hard lines.
Also has the correct input shaft for the FTE ready to go.
Are you planning to run stock turbo or upgrade? I'm really bad about, "while I'm here" add ons. I'm running a Gturbo green wheel at 20 psi. It made a wonderful significant difference.

Ive being looking at the UFI 21L for a while now. Id love to throw one on there, but I think for me I'd like to see how the engine feels and performs stock with the 5speed, 35x11.5x17's in a relatively "light" 80s series. I dont have any armor, drawer systems, heavy bumpers etc.
That and im out of cash,
My end goal is to have around 275ish to the wheels. Not sure how much power you lose through a manual transmission versus automatic, but I'd guess I'd need around 330-350 at the crank to get that.
I understand that plan. See how it feels and go from there.

Working on the clutch stuff today, seriously if you decide to do any project buy a thread chaser kit on amazon, cheap and they work.

Boom!! Like it was meant to be there from the factory! I was going to clean up the pedal assembly, but got carried away and mounted the damn thing.
Shout out to @Rock40 his thread was a huge help in getting the clutch in.
my time table is slowly getting crunched, but we'll make it.
My exhaust shop I like to use in denver, AA Performance Muffler has me on the books for September 2nd, 3 inch exhaust with a medium Magnaflow muffler. 900.00 and some change seems pretty reasonable to me.
Gotta at least have it mostly together by then. Let's see what else we can do today.

Is that an LHD 80 series manual console? The previous owner of my 1HD-FTE/H152 had hell finding one. I think he ended up buying a clapped out truck to get one just to 3-d scan for reproduction.

Wait, did you buy Jomelo's FTE/152 cruiser? that thread is what inspired me to go down this rabbit hole lol
Interestingly, I read that build a few years ago and thought “when I’m able to do this, I’m 100% doing this” and recently have been trying to remember what the thread was, to go back through the build. For the life of me, all I could recall that it was a really nice maroon 80, a diesel, and SO many nice parts.
This one started the sickness for me too. Thanks for reminding me what the thread was!
