Redoing the heat shields, old ones were gone decided to use newer tech that’s available, lighter and resists more heat this one’s rated for 1100f + inside downside sound

Arnak, are you fabing the shield from sheet material or are these preformed? Do you have a link on the materials? Im getting 100 plus degrees above the drivers side cat inside the cab.

I cut & shaped it myself and rounded off the edges inward, very easy to do, the brackets and holes I made custom and welded nuts on the inside so I can tighten the heat shield on to it, making a couple more. These are very easily shaped you can do it by hand literally.

I’m a big fan of the original as well, but this grille was broken from 32 different angles, so I fixed it and gave it another life instead of throwing it away and decided to paint it cute, since the first 3 letters of it is TOYotoa 😂 idk maybe it’ll look stupid once it’s on the truck but hopefully looks cool
