so moving onto the other items...
matt dragging box.PNG this is my good buddy Matt (my other buddy Mike is off camera)
hahahaha I told him blueberry was heavy...

matt.PNG oh ya

armor.PNG this stuff is serious. Very good looking equipment.

These are the items I hope to get on next.
I have a bunch more photos I did not post.

Ok I resend my last comment on the front bumper being an easy install... spent the whole day fitting it. Keep in mind I am lifting it by myself now (my help has left).
KIMG0540.jpg
KIMG0541.jpg I lifted lowered lifted lowered until it was level.
KIMG0542.jpg
KIMG0545.jpg I have a little bracket to fab up. This was the easier way to complete the install.

Hey guys does anyone have suggestions for penetrating the firewall. where the best/easy spot is?

PS is pretty easy. Rubber boot that enters just behind/below the glove compartment, but I have a feeling you're looking on the DS. If so, I can take a picture of the hole that was drilled for my stereo.

I removed a little bit of the dash and I think I found an easy way through (no lube required)
Tough to see but it is on the drivers side between the brake master cylinder and edge of engine compartment KIMG0574.jpg

KIMG0578.jpg I modified the old bracket for the ahc reservoir to mount the ARB compressor. It worked perfect. Now I have 5 wiring harnesses to run.

Looks good! Post some more photos once it's all put back together and the AHC-ectomy is complete.

Will do.

I am headed down to the toyota dealership to ask about the ramifications of unplugging
KIMG0584.jpg if you zoom in you can see the letters "ahc". If I unplug, Will this affect the abs or the dome light or some other circuit. I looked in the wiring manual and the system is connected to everything. I'm just playing it safe. Besides I need to safe off something like 20 plug under the cruiser. I was going to buy the matching plugs and tape them off. What say you guys

finally off the jack stands. this was way more than I thought it would be. but it is looking good. I am fishing in the wires, soldering and installing switches in the center console.

I have finished soldering wires under the hood. I bought a water tight bulkhead fitting with six holes

Lots of wires going into this thing.

ok guys I have officially broke ground on the build.

step 1: (this is step one for SLEE lift kit)measure vehicle all for wheels to fenders
LF: 21 1/4 RF: 20 3/4
LR: 23 3/4 RR: 22 3/4
(fyi- I put it in "HI" mode before I started, not a SLEE requirement)

wow I knew I had ahc problems, cruiser raises and drops all the time, super harsh in the front, but wow that is a 3 inch difference. I am taking everything off with the intent to sell the system/components to whom ever wishes for ahc items.

next step: ahc-overview

drain & remove accumulator from under drivers door and (4) actuators from all four corners on the frame rails and finally remove reservoir, pump and motor. after draining, use SST or a flare wrench to remove all the lines and unplug all connections. I soaked everything with penetrant prior.

This may take a few days but I am ok with that. I am stepping through the removal process according to the manual (so glad I bought them).
The fluid is definitely under pressure and will make a mess- a long bleed hose down into your drain pan will help

Thanks for posting all these details. I have a lift on order and will start this process late next week.

Thanks for this write up, I was going to kill the next person that asked what I was doing while removing the accumulators and pump. Those buggers SUCK to get to, good looking out on the 12mm ratcheting?/articulating wrench.

What size wheels and tires did you put on there? Are you running a different offset or using spacers? thanks

Looks awesome. I was never a fan of the BB bumper, but it's starting to grow on me.
