It is possible you have leaks in two places, the headliner is a clear sunroof leak and stopped up drain.
The QTR belt moldings have little squares of rubber that act like a gasket around the clips and will leak into the rear arts and drain to the seatbelts etc. and leak fairly often, but...
Trying to figure out how much to ask for my truck... it is located in Austin Tx, I believe I am the 4th owner.

202K miles, have not replaced timing belt but have the Aisin kit & oem hoses, belts ready for the swap.

IME one cause of a wet rear seatbelt could be water coming from the rear quarter window belt molding mounting holes. There is (was) a very thin gasket at each mounting hole (?5) for the molding clips, when that gasket deteriorates water can get into the rear quarter panel via those holes.
If...
Hi all!
This is on my daughter's 99 with 220k.
No previous electrical issues.
She turned it off at work yesterday and noticed that the abs light stayed on. She didn't think much of it and went to work. 6 hours later, it was dead. After jumping and getting it home, I observed the following...
If the above suggestions don't work you could CAREFULLY tack weld a nut on top of that screw and then remove it with a socket. To prevent any fires you'll want to pack everything around it with wet rags. Once you've removed it, you could reinstall the seatbelt with a HIGH strength bolt in place...
I'd think, coolant was mostly drain at time of break, so nothing floated in deep. Even if some fluid was in joint, most if not all practicals would be visible just inside water bypass joint. So provided you clean area, all should be out. You can use a wet vac and vacuum out area.
I see no...
2001 Toyota Land Cruiser
180xxx
$16,500 obo
After some thought, I’ve decided to list my Land Cruiser for sale. It has served me exceedingly well, and is my daily driver, but the search for something new is never ending. It was one family owned before I bought it, southern car its whole life...
Is it the front row, or the second row seatbelts that are getting wet? If it's the second row, there is a piece of trim molding mounted between the C, and D pillars. It's held on by plastic clips, those clips can allow water to get underneath them, then water can drip down onto the outboard...
Hello all. I am the new owner of a 1997 FZJ80. I decided to remove the third row seatbelts because I have no plans to use the third row. Went to remove the right plastic panel in the trunk for the first time to remove the seatbelt and found an area of rust just below the rear window. I lifted...
Going to peel it when it's tacky I think. I usually don't have the will power to leave it on. Ha. I'm really going to focus my spraying in the floors, firewall, rear wall and roof....won't hit the windows or the pillars all that hard. We were kind of going over it tonight and thinking that...

Hey guys
Couple of weird water leaks I’m having trouble tracking down
First is in the middle of the rear hatch right below the 3rd brake light. Pulled off the trim, bolts to the 3rd were tight.
Have a front runner roof rack, all those bolts are tight too
2nd leak is coming inside the left...
@87warrior: how do you like the Wet Okole seat covers? They look pretty nice in you photo. Do they stay on well with a pretty tight fit? I'm also searching for a set of seat covers to go over my aging leather seats on my '99 LC.
Up for sale is my mostly stock LX450, owned for about 5 years. Price is $4950, mileage about 230k.
Bought it thinking we were going to do a bunch of camping, maybe light wheeling. But shortly after bought a boat and all of our weekend time has gone into that. Nearly all of the ~40k mileage...
If light on dash you're referring to, is "Maint". It nothing. That's reset every 5k to alert it's time to change oil.
Pull off drive belt and check those pulleys.
As the bearings go bad they sometime wobble a bit. Sometime pulley, put on backwards. Then they'll not seat properly.
If tension...
Sorry for the late reply, haven't been getting on Mud as often as I used to.
The cut-outs for the seatbelts are large enough to use for the latches.
...The Wet Okole in my truck, do not, because they aren't needed for the adult belts....although, in the Cruiser, they might end up the same as...
I checked it out but it was quick and it has some issues.
-Spongy brake pedal
-Rusted rear drivers side rocker panel
-Rear passenger seats (drivers side) wheel well rust, where the seatbelt bolts into the wheel well, completely rusted through and there is no support for the seatbelt bolt.
-A...
