Relisting. We’re not going overseas anymore, but we need a more modern rig for our family.
A lot of work, time, and money have been sunk into this since I got it in Japan in February of 2020. I am sad to see it go, but life changes.
This has been my daily for almost 4 years, both in Japan and the states. Has never once not started (even after 6 months on a boat), runs strong, turbo is solid, great power and torque even at 70-80 mph. 17 MPG in town, 24 on the Highway. Build has been focused on baselining, drivability and reliability, cosmetic issues have received very little attention. It was always meant to be a trail rig for me, so I never bothered to gussy it up. Very minimal rust, I have been treating surface rust as it pops up in the wet climate.

Highlights:
Factory triple locked (K294).
Discs F & R (also a downside b/c rear brake parts).
Very minimal rust.
BEB done at 159k km, no significant wear noted.
IP rebuilt in Japan, timing belt done concurrently.
Injectors rebuilt by DFIS PDX, all new OEM tips.
A lot of refreshed hardware, seals, bushings, hoses, etc (see build sheet).
Head unit with Car Play.
Icon 2.0 shocks all around.
ACSD removed.
A/C blows cold, topped off with R12.
Solid compression numbers (Front to back: 400,455,420,455,445,450).
Valves in spec (IN: .17, .16, .17, .18, .15, .16 / EX: .35, .38, .38, .35, .38, .36. )
Two new batteries.
5x brand new Falken Wildpeak AT3W, 285/75/16.
Steel wheels with factory OS.
Glowshift EGT/Boost/Coolant gauge (still T/S'ing with GS).
Custom front bumper with Badlands 12k winch (can negotiate winch off if you'd like).
I have kept pretty much every part removed, all will come with it, as well as a bunch of parts awaiting install.
I have a new thermostat and all new red coolant, have not had a chance to swap, no issues with current fluid/therm.
Issues/blemishes:
Cosmetically 6/10.
Interior is fair, front seats are a a bit worn, crack in the dash. Rear seats are 9/10.
Paint is a reseller recoat from Japan, it's okay but has some blemishes.
Flares removed because one did not match (right color, wrong year). I still have them all.
Flare underbody Raptor coated.
Rear bumper removed, personal pref. I have the parts, but they have some scuffs.
Sunroof can be leaky (drains are cleared and tested).
A/C had to be refilled last Sept (2022) with R12. No issues since, ran strong though the heat of summer. Though, having to refill indicates a leak of some level.
Door weather seals fit poorly.
Exhaust will likely need to be replaced soon, it has rust in several spots that is more than surface deep. Will cost about $800 for a stainless system from AUS.
Things that don't work:
Dome lights.
Power antenna (rmvd).
Headlight washers (rmvd).
Center console fridge (powers on, doesn't chill).
Windows are slow as f*** in the cold. No issues above 50 deg F or so.
Window lock sticks.
Power locks work intermittently.
Power mirrors do not work/retract.
Glowshift gauge still giving issues, working with manufacture under warranty.

All back together, and up and running. Little bit of a rough start, but to be expected after 6 weeks of sitting. But we took it out for a ~150 mile drive, got it all smoothed out. We’ll see over a few tanks how the fuel mileage has changed (if at all), but DFIS said several injectors were...
