Other than the fact that the battery posts are ass-backwards. The Hot and the Not need to be on opposite ends. :meh:
That was also brought up to me. It was like that when I bought it ten years ago.

:meh:

Ever read a thread on here about an issue. Realize you didn't know it was an issue and immediately go look at your cruiser to see if it's an issue?

Me either. You're paranoid. Lol

What did you do with your 80 this weekend: maintenance, fix, wheel, nothing, new mod??

Me:
Checked air in tires
Change oil&filter 180,000
Fill gas tank
Waiting on box of parts from Beno
I got a front knuckle rebuild kit and Front bearings also bought the tools needed to install it. I am waiting until next month to buy new birfield joints so I can completely rebuild the front end. Getting everything ready so when the snow melts I am ready to go.

Yea it’s rattle canned black. Want to return to factory finish.
It will remove that easily. I used two applications and literally all of the paint is gone.

Getting everything ready so when the snow melts I am ready to go.

Snows already melted in most of the state lol, it's going to be another dry year.

Started with a quick oil change, differentials greased, and tired rotation.

Since the recent rebuild I've had a knock sensors, crank sensor, and distributor code. Changed those out and everything is feeling smooth with no codes.

Bonehead thinking and confusion, I was trying to use @NLXTACYs Piece Pipe as his Vacuum Tree🤦🏽‍♂️

Not the correct location 🙅🏽‍♂️

So temporarily I have a hose plumed into one of the plenum ports I'm not using to measure boost

We introduced Claudia's friends from Germany to 'wheeling in Arizona for the last three days. They drive the JL, did very well, and I think they were able to gather valuable experience. I'm sure that Jeep is going to 'grow' in the near future.

In the middle is Sue Patterson, driving the late Tools R Us truck. Brett in the 200 did a great job navigating through the ups and downs; bookends are Claudia in our LX, and our '93 in the front.
Probably one more trip for the '93, and then it'll be down for a major overhaul.

Spent a nice little solo weekend at Windrock doing some site seeing, overlooks, and easy trails. Discovered my CDL is failing to actuate so I'll have deal with that before GSMTR. Found a lot of threads on the topic and will be doing some investigation this week. I checked the 30a fuse and can hear the relay click but no sound from the actuator itself. Worked fine a couple of weeks ago.

Last weeks storm that rolled into the Sierra, got about 12” of very wet snow…aired down to single digits and it was just making it. Looks like more snow this week for up in the “water shed” Sierra mountains..
