I have a pal who is selling a 1998 100 with approximately 245K on it.
He's the 2nd owner and has mechanically maintained it well.
Runs great, new brake lines, new tires, doesn't burn oil. Needs exhaust and the gas tank has a slow leak.
Interior is poor, rust is normal for the area.
It's in Ancram, NY.

I had someone in my family check this LX 470 out for me a few days ago, guy is very firm on price. Overall in good shape, one owner, claims to have all records. Sun roof does not work (said it hasn't worked since he bought it, never got it taken care of as he never used it). Some small scuffs here and there but overall clean and low miles for year. Timing belt/water pump done at 60k miles. Needs new tires.
My gut says that w/ the sun roof, needing new tires, and that it's just a few thousand miles from needing the 90k service a price between $22k and $23k would be fair, your thoughts? You just can't find these easily and this guy knows that. Heck he'll prob get $25k, just not from me.

I have a 1999 UZJ100 for sale. 202k miles. Has the factory rear locker. Timing belt done about 4 months ago. Old Man Emu lift, Hankook Dynapro 285's, Slee step sliders, Arb front with 8k Smittybilt winch, custom rear tire swingout with hi lift mount, replaced front leather, Yakima load bars, everything works and I would drive it around the world tomorrow. Located in San Angelo, Tx. Looking to swap to a FJ60/FJ62, would definitely be interested in trading for a nice one. Would be willing to to pay extra for the right one. Maybe do some trading for other Cruisers as well.

It's time to sell my 2000 Landcruiser. I've maintained it thinking I'd have it forever but I've been enjoying driving the wife's car so much that we've compromised a trade. We buy a 100 series she "doesn't have to jump into" and I can use her car as my daily driver and we still have a 'cruiser for camping and mountain expeditions. So, here it goes with much sadness:

The day has come to say goodbye to my wife's 2000 LX 470. It has 71k miles on the clock and has black exterior with tan interior. It was well maintained and garage kept, so it is in good shape considering its age. Asking price is $12,000. The vehicle is located in southwest Louisiana. This popped on my radar from one the automated search engines I have set up for local LC's. Color doesn't suit me, so I won't be inspecting first hand, but this one could be the golden find for another here... Checked Toyota owners website for service history, which goes back to the first 10k on ODO. Regular 5k oil changes and routine service visible. TB service done at ~90k. Seller had this posted for $19,800 initially, but apparently thought on it this morning and added another $1,600...

2000 UZJ-100 with 217,000 miles. I am second owner. Clean Carfax (happy to email a pdf copy of the report). Previous owner had regular service performed at Capistrano Toyota in San Juan Capistrano. I purchased this for my wife late 2013 with ~185k miles. Under my ownership regular oil changes every 5k miles using Mobil 1 synthetic.
Timing belt done at 180k as well as trans service, differential service, and brakes.
Clean interior with no rips, do tears, no cracked dash. Does have a few minor scratches/door dings as would be expected with a 2000 model year vehicle.
Has the creature comforts the 100 series is noted for such as climate control, heated seats, cruise, power seats, power windows, moon roof, etc.
Tires are 285/75-16...

I Drove all the way from Joshua Tree to Costa Mesa to look at the truck after the owner swore up and down that the truck didn't have anything wrong with it.
Truck has been in a major accident that's not covered on the carafx. Hood is bent, mediator replaced, bumper falling off, subframe and control arms are brand new. The guy even lied about getting it smogged for transfer. Owner is a complete fraud. Don't waster your time.

Timing belt and related parts changed at 142k, mobile 1 or other synthetics used throughout all services (I have the previous owner's receipts along with my own maintenance history, and that provided by toyota). I recently replaced all bearings, rebuilt the front calipers, and installed new rear calipers. New slotted rotors. New Monroe shocks. BFG Rugged Terrains 275/70/18 with 5k on them. Interior is a 8.5/10, exterior is a 9/10.

This is a very clean truck, no accidents, no rust, everything is original and works just as it should. It's got some small imperfections in the paint (damn you black paint!) but nothing beyond normal wear for it's age.
No 90k service done yet.
I still owe a couple bucks on it so the bank will have to mail the title once the transaction is complete.
