Price Drop***Chattanooga: 2000 LX470, 119,000 miles, IronMan lift, CruiserOutfitters 2wd conversion
So we’ve decided to sell. Making this the official “For Sale” thread I am the 3rd owner. First owner had it for the first 87,500 miles. Second owner who is our PDR guy, bought it for his wife who was driving a new X5. Her exact words were..."its got a tape player and I'm not driving it". Bought it from him in January of 2018 with right at 88,000 miles. Belts and pump were done at 70,000 miles. At about 98,000 miles, I installed an Ironman lift along with the Slee diff drop. I found a set of Rock Warriors(5) that needed a little love so I had them blasted and powder coated along with the rings. Around 105,000 miles, I started hearing the dreaded clicking from the front so I decided to go ahead and pull the trigger on Cruiser Outfitters...
Truck is going on eBay. If it doesn’t sell there then you can bid on it on bringatrailer. It is amazing how much hate this post received by being priced $2k over market. I’m not sure how many more times I would have had to say “I’m willing to negotiate” but I’m not willing to stick around and find out. I’m also amazed that the mods allow fools to jump into a for sale thread that follows all of the rules and bombard it with negative comments about the price. Mods: please delete thread.
San Diego: 2001 LX470
Unfortunately, it's time to sell my LX470. I bought this vehicle in November of 2018 with the intent of keeping it for a long time, but work circumstances have changed and I need to get a smaller vehicle. 2001 LX470 with 110,800 miles. After purchasing, did a full baseline with receipts totalling over $5k. New front brakes and rotors, new steering gear, and all new fluids. Mileage may go up slightly, but not regularly driving the car. Water pump and timing belts all completed this year. No major scheduled maintenance for several years. No issues with or signs of rust as this is a southern California car its whole life. I purposefully tried to find a 2001 so I could replace the head unit with an Apple CarPlay capable unit. I had...
Looking to buy a built LC 100 or LX470 (AHC Removed ofcourse). Front and rear aftermarket bumpers, suspension lift, rear lockers preferred. Maintenance records and being rust free are a must. Less than 200,000 miles. I am located in NJ, but willing to fly and ride for the right rig. Looking to pay $10K to $15K depending on the condition and the accessories Best to email me at anoopkrishna.r@gmail.com
Ok, so I've been on the look out and have talked with a number of you, but am not quite sold on anything just yet. I'm looking for a "lower" mileage Land Cruiser that's has documented maintenance and is well cared for. By "lower" mileage, I'm looking for something that's under 200k miles. Bonus points if it's under 150k miles. I don't care if you're overloading and off-roading, or if it's your mall-crawling garage queen, but I do care that it's been well cared for. Ideally? I'd like a moderately built (lift, wheels/tires, ok with front bumper/sliders) 06 or 07, although the I'm ok going all the way through the 100-series years for the right vehicle. If you have an LX that you'd like to tell me about, I think I'd rather have it...
I am looking for a 2006-2007 model Land Cruiser but will consider 2003-2005 models with the 5 speed transmission. Preferred colors are white, black, and grey. Modifications wise, stock or close to stock is preferred. Mileage is not as important if proper maintenance has been performed, and has been documented. I am located in Maryland but I am willing to travel for a clean example with minimal to no rust. Thanks!
2005 LX470 in Chantilly VA
Was giving consideration to going to look at this local LX at dealer. Price seemed fair for the miles. Cosmetics were good. https://www.epovoauto.com/vdp/13665434/Used-2005-Lexus-LX-470-Sport-Utility-for-sale-in-Chantilly-VA-20152 2005, 150K miles, recent TB service, $15K Ask JTJHT00W754001836 The I punched the VIN into the Lexus owner's site and wowzers. Selling my dream car! I've owned this for the past 8 years, purchased it from a friend in PA who was the second owner. I've reluctantly decided to replace this with something else. I This LX was a garage queen when I bought it, and continued to be a garage queen after I bought it. I only put 40K mi on it since I've owned it. I planned on keeping this forever, and have meticulously maintained it since I purchased it. I am a mechanical engineer and maintain all my vehicles - always with the intention of keeping them forever and never selling them, so no cost has been spared in maintenance. You will be hard-pressed to find a similar one in the northeat, in such great shape, with such low miles. This is a true collector vehicle! Minor...
2000 Concord, NC 138k
Thought I found one. Went and looked today but after showing some pics to the forum I may pass. Great color and with 138k Miles. Advertised on Facebook. Asking 9500 Lived 90% of life in PA One owner Very nice guy See pics. Skid plate is done. I pulled some flakes off the frame off very rear end corner. Ran very strong and had tons of service records. Interior was decent. Just had more rust than I’m comfortable with.
North AL. Looking for a 100LC.
I'm in a lengthy search for a 100LC (not interested in LX). Must be clear title, no rust, decent service history. I'd like either '98-'99 or 06-07 but will consider other models as well. Either built or semi-built. Or a good stock truck that I can build. Will consider most colors but prefer white or silver. No snorkel. My '74 forty needs a younger brother to hang out with... ;)
A buddy and I went and looked at this tonight. As stated in the ad, it was totaled when it was only 6 years old and rebuilt. The seller is a college student. The front frame horns were repaired as was the radiator support. It looks to have rolled over and crushed the roof from the sunroof forward. Lots of rust bubbling up and a hole that probably is the source of the water leak. All doors close but fit is not perfect. Passenger side airbag is gone. That said if you look at the pics real close you will see the locker selector. It only has the rear and I verified all the parts are there. I was hoping we found a hidden jewel but it was just too rough. If someone wanted something to go bash then this would be the ticket. No...
