A buddy and I went and looked at this tonight. As stated in the ad, it was totaled when it was only 6 years old and rebuilt. The seller is a college student. The front frame horns were repaired as was the radiator support. It looks to have rolled over and crushed the roof from the sunroof forward. Lots of rust bubbling up and a hole that probably is the source of the water leak. All doors close but fit is not perfect. Passenger side airbag is gone.
That said if you look at the pics real close you will see the locker selector. It only has the rear and I verified all the parts are there. I was hoping we found a hidden jewel but it was just too rough. If someone wanted something to go bash then this would be the ticket. No...

I looked for 6 months for a really nice and well kept Land Cruiser and found this one. Purchased from Adventure Motors, MO. Adventure told me the water pump and timing belt were replaced at 97,000 miles. The recently (October) Ceramic coated white paint sheds water and shines really nice. This Land Cruiser drives really nice. I would not hesitate to drive to the West Coast with this truck.

- night vision windshield has been replaced to non oem windshield.
- has some scratches and dents normal wear.
- hand break isn't working.

1998 Landcruiser 206,000 miles with rear locker. I bought this a couple months ago in Delaware from an IH8mudder with the intention of lifting it and making it more of an overland vehicle. After having only one maybe two serious inquiries from this forum, I guess I have it over priced or most people just hate Sonora Gold. Either way, my intention is to sell it by spring to purchase another 200 series for the extra tow rating. I recently purchased a new boat which is around 5,000 lbs with gear and fuel. Air conditioning recharged after capping rear A/C lines. Works great.
Current issues:
ABS, VSC, and Brake lights are on. I don't know why as it drives like normal.
Has a water leak somewhere in the rain. I've tried to caulk some areas with no success. Drips down the inside of each A-pillar onto floor in heavy rain.
rear tailgate and bumper have a dent in them.
sunroof is sealed shut - can easily be undone.
As for the rest of it, it has some body rust on the leading edge of each rear wheel well some around the windshield frame...

Spent the day going back and forth with the seller. Thought this was the one, but just couldn't get any sort of rapport going with the seller via ebay messaging, so I bailed. He's new to ebay and doesn't seem to understand how things work. Was reluctant to speak on the phone, per his stated reason of wanting to keep everything within the ebay system.
Based on the pics, and the history he provided to me, this truck seems like a decent deal. Seller has owned it since 2006. Autocheck is clean.
