I just sold my last Fj. I need a daily commuter for 2 mi. each way through the winter. I will care for it carefully and work on it all next summer (I teach). $3000 would be perfect. $4500 would be a stretch. I recognize the improbability of finding this, but where I used to live the saying was, "asking is not stealing". Thanks

1986 4Runner SR5 AC/5spd/pw/pl/sunroof/cd. Everything works. 109,xxx original miles. New tires less than 10,000 miles ago. Really clean. PO painted and repaired some rust. Two small areas coming back but would be eas to deal with. Top comes off easy. Everything but the radio is stock. I am the 3rd owner. Selling an XCab 88 Toyota 4WD truck here in PA. Was my truck for years, I sold it and recently got it back. The good: very strong V6 engine I don't think the heads have ever been off. never had any trouble with the engine, has very good power, starts readily, doesn't smoke and doesn't throw any engine codes. Five speed tranny works pretty good, clutch seems fine. 4WD works great and the truck has Aisin manual hubs. Steers nice and goes down the road straight. I started out with a 91 'fj80 modified it some, then I sold it for a new fj cruiser and it has recently been sold due to family members needing help with money. I am 30 years old and I am fixing to have my first child, IT IS A BOY. It has always been my dream to own a bad a** FJ60 so now I am looking for one of those. I want to keep this thing as long as I can, so my son can enjoy it with me. SO with all that said does anyone know where I might find one in good shape with no rust and one that can be a dependable DD? Car is straight as an arrow with near flawless body and paint. Fairly recent restoration. Car has run in high 11's in the quarter mile. Car looks and runs great, and sounds amazing. Selling my 98 100 Series, 206,xxx miles-virtually never offroad, strictly a commuting rig. Good condition other than dent in rear lid which I chose not to repair (opens, closes, and locks with no problem). I've never had any mechanical issues with this, always serviced at the local Toyota dealer. The oil at 3,000 miles looks as clean as when you poured it in. Looking for a high mileage 80s Toyota /Nissan/Mazda work truck in SoCal. Doesn't have to be pretty. Must have a clean title and not a rust bucket. 2wd long bed preferred, but 4wd short bed OK. Small dents and dings OK. Stake beds OK. Would like to purchase from a Mudd member if possible. PM if your looking to sell a work truck. Do not want anything newer then 1990 or older then 1985. No beauty queens, I can't afford them. Must be in good running shape. A truck with a camper shell is good too.
