SOLD 84 FJ60/4BDT2 central MN, USA

84 fj60 with an Isuzu 4BDT2. The fj came from AZ. I did a complete paint on it in 09. I attached a pic of it when I bought it. The 4B has about 4k on it from a complete rebuild this last summer including a new exhaust manifold, head, sleeves, pistons etc. The majority of the parts came from Isuzu. The head and the ARP head studs are the only aftermarket parts. The Isuzu is mated to an NV4500 with an Allamares adapter. I rebuilt the NV4500 with all the parts coming from Midwest Transmission Center in Zumbrota MN. The Isuzu has a turbo off a 4bt hx30w peaking at about 24psi. I am leaving the country so I need to sell this project. I got a really nice 62 body from Georgia. There is zero rust on it. It does have a little parking lot rash, some scratches and the rear tailgate has a dent that would be best if it was repaired. I have had the truck since 2012 and I have very slowly been collecting OEM and NOS parts for it. I have about $5k (with receipts) in OEM & NOS parts for the body an interior. 1986 5k (cant seem to edit the subject line) Land Cruiser 250k miles de-smoked, this is not a rust free cruiser, pans are rusting around the edge but the for the guy who has the time and tools and desire can turn it around, not that bad. It is my daily driver but can use some work I had Jim C do the carb, had the rear freeze plug and clutch replaced this year, lift was put on less than 50k miles, engine was rebuilt around 180k, newer bushings in front and some in rear, but steering is not the best, some clunking when turning. Wanted Looking for a stock[ish], sub $9000 FJ62

Looking for a 62. Open to most colors except red, blue and two tone (no offense). A worn driver's seat, and/or a few cracks in the dash don't scare me. Easily replaced trim, moldings, lights, wheels and tires showing their 30 year old age are not deal breakers, but rust is. Prefer a close to stock rig. This is not going to be a daily, but I do like the idea of fuel injection and power options, so no 60s (again, no offense). I'm in Maryland and I know from just the solid week I have been researching 62s here, on Craigslist and cars.com that I am going to have to travel. So I've decided to part with my newly acquired fj62. I've found a 100 series that I want to build out for a cross country trip next spring and the wife says something has to go before another comes in. So..... it has to be this one. 88' fj62 with 235,000 miles. Truck is original California cruiser with no body or frame rust. The truck is in above average condition inside considering the age. I thought the truck was burning oil due to previous owner and not seeing any marks on driveway but it has been brought to my attention that it does have a rear main seal leak and small transmission leak. SOLD I've really loved this rig. It's a very clean 85' , Good Highway Tires, Original Drivetrain, and repainted but clean body. 156,950 miles. I've drove daily for the last year, and it's never left me walking or stranded. I am the third owner of the vehicle and have only had it a year, like myself the prior two owners from Utah & Oregon had babied and taken very good care of the vehicle.
