Hello fellow 60's lovers-
I'm looking for a HJ60 or BJ60. I don't need a beauty queen, just no major rust or major body damage. I don't need a brand new engine/tranny, just something reliable. I don't need a spotless interior, just something mostly clean. And mostly I want DIESEL. (I'm part of an all diesel club, which makes fuel transpo much easier on long wilderness trips.)
I don't have a huge budget, therefor I don't have unreasonable expectations. I just want a decent 60 that I can drive in the city, and take camping on the weekends. A solid 7 out of 10 is what I'm looking for.
If you, or someone you know, are thinking of selling a vehicle that fits the above criteria, please point me in their direction. The truck will be going...

Just wanted to share this one because I'm dying for this rig. For whatever is good or bad with it, it just has the look that does it for me. Alas, I just dumped my remaining meager liquid cash into my 200, and my 100 is only halfway done.
BaT auction: 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60
I've decided to sell my 1987 fj60 Land Cruiser. 4wd works good and the engine runs strong but is burning oil and I'm not interested in fixing it.
I've installed a lot of new parts including:
New radiator and hoses, new battery, new wheels and tires have about 10,000 miles, new muffler and tail pipe, spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor and valve adjustment. Left front knuckle has been rebuilt and I will include the parts to do the right side. Rear brake shoes and wheel cylinders replaced. New u-joints and driveshaft has been balanced. Rear pinion seal replaced.
The body has the typical rust for its age and the frame is in good condition.
Asking $4000 obo
Stock driveline: 2F, 4spd, 4.10's. Rear has a LockRite and front is open but there's a LockRite included to go in if desired. Home-fabbed spring-over (not my handy work) with nearly new 35" General Grabbers. New (not factory) front seats but they need to be lowered some. Exterior below windows is roll-on bed-coating of some kind, above that is white, engine bay and door jambs are blue. 12k winch up front but it is mounted to factory bumper with only two of the bolts into the frame rails. Was wheeled so corner lights and bumper corners aren't straight, but no major body damage or major rust anywhere. Shows 154k miles but speedo is inop so not fully accurate. Very clean overall though. Frame looks like new; not a bit of rust.

1989 Toyota Land Cruiser GX FJ62 Landcruiser FJ 62
208k miles. Starts and runs great, gets factory mpg (10-12) drives in a straight line, brakes are decent, everything works properly, dash isn't cracked. It seems like a good clean truck. I've had it on a lift and inspected everywhere - seems solid and rust free, rocker seams are great. It has some normal dents and dings, but the paint is still shiny... normal nicks.

Second owner - owned for two years and had an absolute blast with it. Moving on from it because of practicality reasons. Young father of four now, you know the drill.
Runs well on the road, smooth and straight. Engine will likely need some check up work over the next few years. I'm forecasting around 2K in needed, but not urgent. That's if you use a mechanic instead of doing it yourself.
Some rust spots and a new paint job is needed. I've quoted out a full rubberization of the undercarriage, rust removal and a new paint job for $2,500. That's why this is for sell at 8K instead of 11K.
Miles are extremely low for this year and the interior is immaculate.
Somebody go snag this. You can give me the rear springs if you want. And the steering box and pump. And whatever else you don't want. :)

I am selling my '88 62. It has been my daily driver for 10 plus years. Automatic. 207,544 miles. Had a new alternator put on in November. Master brake cylinder about 2 years ago. No major rust issues. Some surface rust and slight body damage. Undercarriage is fine. Engine and tranny are fine. Vehicle runs great. 4WD works great. Very nice clean cruiser. 215K miles. Original paint with the exception of some chip guard on the bottom 10" or so of the truck. The previous owner did it and it looks nice. It is a clean, rust free truck. I have all of the service records and work records done since new. The most recent work was:
1-25-14 New tires (3000 miles have been put on since new)

Birth of third child forces me to sell. This truck had a frame off restoration about 8 years ago by an expert cruiser tech in Colorado but I've only had her for the last 2 years. This is my daily driver (4 miles round trip to work) so it is in excellent running condition. Garage kept with very little rust, just a few spots around tailgate and wheel wells as seen in pics. - just under 300k miles, but top end has been freshened up, starts on first twist of the key
- 4 inch lift, reversed the spring over axel. The lift was way too much previously and now rides and looks better

1987 Land cruiser for sale. All original (as far as I can tell). Normal condition for year and miles. Gas Engine not a diesel. Manual Shift , 4x4 works, everything except cold air conditioning and stereo work. Runs great- I have been using it as a daily driver for last few months. I bought it for my teens to drive. But my wife and I have decided it would be better for them to drive something safer. Unfortunately, my 18 year old had an accident in my 2014 truck. Therefore, we have become acutely aware of safety features.
