Hello I'm looking for a complete rust free (or relatively rust free) 60 series donor body. Don't need a motor or drive train, but I would also be willing to take a complete truck also if the price is right. I'm located on Vancouver Island, BC but I'm willing to travel for the right truck! PM please or text 2502662274 Thanks!
purchase advice requested
been reading/learning about landcruisers for almost a year - finally drove my first LC today - 82 diesel BJ60 - 3B. my wife and I loved it . the fact that she is excited for us to get one is the best part...she thought it would be big / hard to drive - but it was great. BUT: vehicle is for sale. $8000.00 See photos: not sure if it's worth having professionals look at it further. seems like the only thing making it worth more than the average rusted out and poorly cared for LC is that it's a diesel - otherwise it's a mess! very very few records other than oil changes. truck sits 11 months out of the year - but does get taken out on road trips once per year and seller says it's totally reliable. the glove compartment has...
1988 FJ62 in Iowa
Up for sale is my 1988 FJ62. I purchased this Land Cruiser in January of this year with plans on doing a 3FE conversion, front disc brake swap, and power steering conversion on my 1971 FJ40. After much deliberation, I've decided to keep my FJ40 stock. I've considered parting out the FJ62 myself, but it is a complete running Land Cruiser that I'd hate to tear up if someone else might be able to use it. The body is rusty, there is no carpet, but as a testament to these vehicles, this thing has always started and runs down the road straight and smooth. The odometer is showing 193761 miles. The previous owner told me that the motor was changed at 92000 miles, but I have no way of proving this. I have a paper FSM that will go with the...
Hi all. I'm looking for a set of OEM bumpers for a 60 series. No need to be show quality, but a decent looking set would be nice. I'm in Vancouver BC so the closer the better as I imagine shipping these things would not be cheap. What are these things worth anyway? I see most people take them off to replace them with ARB or other winch bumpers....

1989 FJ62 199k mi Kansas
Well, the time has come for me to part ways with my champagne-coloured 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62. It's a wrench, but I need a bigger vehicle. Since I've had her I've put around $10k in to making her a daily driver (I can provide receipts). The majority was done at Molle Toyota, a few things at Weaver's over in Shawnee (Previous owner's shop of choice). This car has been my daily driver since March and has never left me stranded, the engine and transmission are strong, 4WD works like a charm. I had her out in the snow and the traction was unbelievable! Now, this is a 27 year old truck and it is not perfect -- I would describe it as survivor that has been kept completely stock. The clearcoat is faded in a few places, the driver's seat...
I'm looking for a clean daily driver. I've mainly been looking at 100 series trucks but a good 60 series could work too! Requirements: Under $10k Not a project A lift and some off-road goodies are nice but not necessarily required. Overall clean with little to no rust. I'm located in Gaithersburg MD Also posting upnthe same ad in the 80 and 100 series section! Thanks! Andrew
