Wow! Truck looks awesome and capable. My strongest memory of Olympic is giant slugs on the tent in the morning.

Starting day two of travel with a boat ride, save going through Seattle 😁

Yeah we bought a rental house property last year for 1/2 of that…it’s absurd!

Btw…have you bought a 70 series yet?
Not yet still looking

Maybe this one GCC FZJ73

Day two started rainy and overcast. Once we got to Hope, BC and the Fraser river gorge rain went away and replaced by mostly clear skies and warmer, enough to turn the ac on on the down hills🤣. Then stayed clear all the way to Prince George. Stayed clear all night and woke up to 21F temp this morning 😐 definitely back in the north country.

Stewart and drive back to 37. That drive is so awesome, picturesque, about the same as the drive to Valdez just longer.
Just a clarification on any total time shown, it includes any stops we did, so one can take off anywhere from like an hr to maybe 2hrs.

We overnighted in Meziaden Junction. Friday continued up the Cassiar hwy. The road got fairly rough, lots of potholes, rough patches, and frost heaves. This was until maybe 50mi short of the Alaska Hwy junction. Had 4 or 5 3rd gear climbs. It’s definitely the most beautiful scenery in BC. Lots of snow still on the ground
