1972 FJ40 was an original Factory Soft Top (still have the Darth Vader lamp cover). It has DUI ignition, Saginaw power steering, 1989 FJ62 front disk breaks. Longfields, Long’s gun-drilled front axels. I have a new in the box Dakota Digital. Comes with Bestop soft top. F-Engine 3speed. Power coated wench front bumper. Power coated rear bumper with tire Carrier & Yeti 45 carrier. Power coated dash bezel & glove box. New power coated side steps (still in wrapper). Dual gas tanks. Includes 2 sets of quick door hinges. Has Sliders. City Racer head lights.
It does need body work, but mechanically it is sound. I’ve taken trips to all of the New England states. She will run all day long at 65 mph.

I've been lurking here for a few years studying build threads as I work away on a 40 I bought up in WY. I've learned alot from some great threads and amazing members. And Ive finally learned that I don't have the time this project needs to finish. I hate giving up on something but it's time to let this one go.
Pictures include some shots from when I brought it home and some showing where it is now. It ran well enough when i bought it for some day trips in the Front Range. I took it apart thinking body work would be easier that way and it has been inside the entire time since. All the original parts are present except the top cap, front bumper and one corner window. And i have many new sheet metal parts in the back half of the tub...

For sale is a 1976 FJ40 Landcruiser, mostly original with a very solid frame and moderately rusty body. Milage is 19268, not actual. Original 2f, and 4 speed H42, with power brakes and front discs. Purchased by me over 3 years ago, I have put time mostly into getting this Landcruiser mechanically reliable. The original plan was far a full frame off restoration, however currently being a renter with a small garage, this will not be possible for the foreseeable future. Looking for the inner frame gussets for both sides from steering box back to rear of cab on the INSIDE of the frame rails. These are riveted into frame and have a series of 2-3 inch hole spaced out. Good solid condition. Thank you.
1975 Toyota Land Cruiser with the factory 2f engine and 4 speed transmission. Runs and drives good. Very solid Montana rig that is complete. The previous owner sprayed primer on the bottom all around the truck, I did not do that. Original paint on top, primer on bottom. Has jump seats and original front and rear floor mats. 1977 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser
I've rebuilt ever mechanical part on this FJ40 about 5000 miles ago. I did so much work on this and just hardly every use it... which is why i'm selling it. Its reliable as a Toyota. Starts, runs and drives down the highway at 65 all day long. I went through the entire thing to make it safe and reliable.
I'm don't have to sell this so please don't make silly offers. The only thing I would consider in trade would be a surf boat or partial trade for one.

1970 FJ40, originally from Montana. been in storage and not driveable for decades. It is so solid and nearly rust free. I didnt want to paint it, I love patina. This is a straight six engine, three on the tree manual transmission with vacuum operated four wheel drive. It is a perfect driving 40. no top or side doors, I only drive on nice days. Completely stock with a few saftey exceptions. Its value is derived from a mechanically sound truck with such a solid body. I havent seen one so clean in decades. I never planned to sell this truck but life has gotten in the way. Completely Rebuilt engine rebuilt carb, done in florida by a FJ40 carb expert. front disk brakes off a 1976 FJ40, rebuilt front knuckles. rear disk brakes, JT outfitters...
1962 fj40 runs drives not 100% complete. Not enough time and to many projects to finish it up. Do have a soft top for it not sure if it's all there or correct never tried to install it. Have the full hard doors unrestored but in good shape and glass intact. Sbc powered toyota 3spd on floor. Powered disc brakes on front. Asking 18k but flexible on price.
