I put the gas cap in the pump handle cradle. When I put the pump back it reminds me not to drive away without it. I’ve lost a few…

I leave the keys in the cap. Hard to drive away without the keys.

I was at the gym siphoning fuel out of the Jerry so I could make a run across town. Always in a hurry.
I’m going to back track this morning and see if I find it. Doubtful tho.

I dont run a top, so I put the cap on the passenger seat or on the rear inner fender. .

Dealer will have me 2 Monday morning.

When I lost my Oil Fill Cap, I looked everywhere and was really stumped by how it could've just disappeared when I'd like to think I am really good about double checking stuff like that. Ended up snagging an aftermarket cap from Advanced Auto of all places and ordered an OE replica.

A couple weeks ago while poking around the engine bay I found the original just sitting on my starter. 100's of miles driven since I "lost" it. Much of that off-road... I now have 2 backups in my glove box...

Sadly no 40s here and mine is tucked away in the garage at home.

It’s been 16 days since I drove my 40. I think I died a little inside. First world problems of parking under the sleeping kids. I don’t want to wake the house when I leave for work so therefore the 40 had to sit in the garage until I had time to get it out while everyone was awake.

Pulled it out of its cold storage last night so I could drive it today. Must have been humid.
