1971 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 with 71,000 original miles. Had been stored in a barn until a few years ago when I purchased. Hadn’t been registered since 1996. Once I purchased I started going through the FJ with new parts. The FJ runs and drives well but will need the lights hooked up to be road worthy. The FJ is all original besides the front seats. This is a project vehicle that has all the original parts, including all the smog, and original engine. The rear tub has been removed and it comes with a new tub that has not been installed. Includes a set of original wheels and it comes with the full hard top and doors. The winch and the seat headrests are not included. 1982 US Spec FJ40 from the West coast. This fj40 has 100% original paint and it runs excellent. I drive it regularly, but it doesn’t get the use it should, so I’m looking to make some garage space. It has all the smog equipment intact and has the 2F engine with power steering. Front floors are 100% zero rust and the rear floor has some visible surface rust from the rear floor mat being in place, but the floor is very solid. Both rear quarter panels have small sections that could be repaired, but because it’s such an original vehicle it never bothered me and I drive it as it is. 1965 fj40 dry california native. Has been off the road since 1987! This 65 was pretty much untouched except for a sbc swap early on sometime in the 70’s. It was completely disassembled headed for a rock crawler build! Luckily the owner lost interest and I was able to save it. The top, doors, and seats were tossed? 1966 FJ40 with a 1969 motor, original 1966 motor included. Second owner. Everything is original to the best of our knowledge. The vehicle is located in Maine.
This vehicle has always been used for ranch work and hunting trips in Wyoming. This is a workhorse. Every scratch and dent has been earned. The body has surface rust but it is in otherwise very good shape. You will see that it took some pretty good hits but those are not flaky, rusty spots - they are solid bent or torn metal and are still solid today.
Some history. I bought the vehicle from the original owner in 2005. He was retiring from his truck repair business. At the time, his sons said the mileage was original and today it has 84967 miles on it.

78’ FJ40. Started its life in Mountain Home Idaho and never left the state, at least for too long. I acquired this rig a year and a half ago from the family of the gentleman that restored it. He had owned it for 29 years. It has multiple modifications and upgrades throughout the years, I’ll do my best to list them all.

Had this FJ40 for 13 years. Bought from a local seller that had purchased in Arizona and brought to San Diego. Have had it serviced at the Truck Shop (TLC specific mechanic) in SD the entire time. Have receipts for literally everything done.
Smog exempt in CA. Chevy 350 SB engine - V8 - runs well. No smoke. Starts up no issues. 4-speed and minimal surface rust, mostly rust free. Unsure when the SB got swapped. Painted back to the original beige color 5 years ago, paint is holding up well. Tires at 95% tread.
