Thanks,
Yes, I have been reading for a long time but only joined recently.
I had the Ford Defect first, it has lived in a shed at my parents for several decades, and is largely untouched.
The pictures flatter it.
It's. 10hp side valve English ford, with an Australian ute body.
we have 3 children 21,18 and 14. Two girls and a boy.
They didn't like camping when they were younger, as it either rained or we got attacked by bugs.
so we got an old Silver Australian Viscount caravan from 196&.
This sort of followed us home and is in remarkable original condition.
The cruiser was first used as a tow vehicle, and also came along at the right time,
The tow I had previously, was only a ford sedan and was a bit light leading to a lot of instability at speed
The 60 is also interesting. It's got a lot of factory / period accessories but is fairly untouched,
It shows it's age and Kim's and has ended up becoming my daily driver.
It's white with original springs and tired suspension bushes
It's due for a bit of work, hence my participation in Mud.
Sorry to add so much to your thread.
