You should check the classifieds some times I just sold a complete summit kit on the cheap. Is this project still on? Summit cruiser's carriers are hens teeth and it would be nice to be able to order something. Getting 35s soon and I don't want it hanging under the truck or in the cargo area...
This is Summit Cruiser with option on the passenger side.Very interested on an OEM bumper rear tire carrier. What is the pricing and how long is the order time. Are there any instructions on how to install to the bumper? Is it possible to order a right side (passenger side) tire mount?
The ONLY reason this hasn’t seen the light of day is because I can’t find a good, local fabricator. Keeping it local keeps the cost down and makes shipping easier. Until that shop is found, yes, this is back burner.
I understand what your going through, I know how hard it can be to find a fab shop that has the commitment to produce a quality product in small batches, deliver those items on time, and at the agreed upon price.
I wonder if a fabricator would be more agreeable to just supplying the parts for a 'DIY' weldable kit. Might not be worth anyone's trouble though....most folks want the finished product (me included) but I can weld proficiently.

It's hard to belive that of all the millions of people living in the LA area there isn't a good, reliable fabricator to be found. There's gotta be one in town somewhere, but I suppose that doesn't mean they'll be easy to locate. And for that matter, when you do find them they probably won't be cheap.
I know that in smaller communities, particularly ones with agriculture nearby, there would be several decent metal shops happy to take on a side project and do a good job at a fair price.
I understand you wanting to keep it local, and it's your business. It certainly isn't our place to tell you to do anything different. It just seems like a fairly low hurdle after all the effort you've put into this project.
Something like that would never come from me. Finished products only.
Any vibration/movement from the tire carrier??
Nope, pretty solid. The latch holds everything in place pretty well.Get the tire leveling kit for now, it will move the tire up and away and it will fit a 35" tire up there

Who is ICON / TLC using for their bumpers? Gotta be local...The ONLY reason this hasn’t seen the light of day is because I can’t find a good, local fabricator. Keeping it local keeps the cost down and makes shipping easier. Until that shop is found, yes, this is back burner.
