Resurrection: Is the P/N the same for left and right? I'm having trouble finding out for sure if it's the same or if left and right are different.

Perhaps this thread will help. I eventually point out the two at Cruiser Corps.

Okay yeah I remember that thread. Bookmarked it so I can remember where to order the exterior pieces. Right now I'm looking to replace my damaged beyond repair interior felts; the ones that clip to the door panels. Would prefer to go chrome free, but doesn't look like that'll be an option given how it uses tabs on the chrome strip to secure to the panel.

Yeah, I had to replace my inner one for the driver front, too. I can't remember if I got it from a dealer or Cruiser Corps.

anybody knows where I could get the inner window felts..
I got the front inners but no luck on the rear door inners...
I checked every site I know without any luck....
Do any any of the 70 series fit the 60 series trucks...

TIA

EDIT:
I could not get the inner felts for the 60.
After pulling the cards for the rear doors I see that the front door felts would be able to work for the rear as well.
I think these just need to be cut to size and done....
I got the metal exposed on the front doors and thinking of doing the same for the rears, but I havent decided on it just yet... either full card or metal exposed the front felts would work on the rears... with metal exposed being more work done....

Aigh......
I pulled the rear driver side door card and compared the old felt to a new front door felt (both inners).
Other than the new felt being too long (needs cutting to size) it's a perfect match ( the tabs line up).

Guess what Im doing.......

Old vs new....

Piece of new felt for sizing....

Get them while these are still available....:beer:

So, while Im replacing felts on the rear doors I also want to get rid of the metal on the card and expose the blue paint on the top side of these here doors....
The only problem I see, other than pulling apart the inner glass, is the quarter rear door (this needs to be done as the felt needs to be attached to the actual door and not the door card )
There is this gap left under the rubber seal of that quarter window once i get rid of the metal on the cards...
Anybody has an idea on how to deal with this gap ?
Im thinking some sort of RTV seal as this lil window is stationary......

TIA.

Over time the gap closes as the rubber settles down. No other solution I've come across.

Revived again. I'm guessing all the rear window rubber seals are discontinued on the trusty 89 FJ62? I've found a source for the front doors weather-strip and the inner door piece. But I am having a lot of trouble finding a semi-affordable rear door solution. My windows are rolling down slow on 30+ year old hard rubber. I know Beno and CDan are out of the parts business. Has anyone taken over their role? I used to get a lot of parts from Beno before moving on to a new job and having to downsize the Cruiser fund. Any help is always greatly appreciated. Thanks.

@Bullzi did some good stuff on this:

Are you looking for the window run itself (the part the window slides in)? I replaced mine and it made my windows feel like new again. I don't know if it meets your definition of semi-affordable, but they're all still available OEM:

PartQuantityPart #Notes
Front window run (upper)26814190A03
Front window run (lower)26814390K00FJ60 is NLA, this part is from a 70 series and works great.

I did use some air tool oil in the channels this weekend and it shot some life back into those old channels. Has anyone ever tried the channels from OC auto carpets? They're online. Looks like they sell front and back window seals. They also have carpet kits for the cruiser. Just curious. Thanks everyone.
