Hey guys, I installed an aftermarket window regulator on my fj60. It’s just manual with the sprocket and spring. It works perfect until I roll the window all the way down and then shut the door. At this point the front of the window somehow comes out of the little c Channel guide in the front of the door. When that happens obviously it won’t roll up all the way without binding so i have to take the door panel off just to pop it back in place.
I did replace the window rubber with this like nylon c channel that I think is a little bit smaller but not enough to cause this.
I wonder is there an adjustment I missed? I’m just getting tired of taking the door panel off and on. On a positive note I’m getting good at the window crank u shaped holder thing haha!!
