Should be fine for a 30 year old tractor motor and 8bit ECU logic…
I've heard blowing into the ECU connectors is step one on the 3FE's "no start" flow chart. Is this true?

Yes. Any you have to remember to push the primer bulb 8x.

First front axle job for Wilson has begun…

@jfz80 is gonna post proof that I have the fastest FJ80 in the world...

I really love the Slee shortbus but bumpers serve two purposes for us Upstaters. The deer around here are pretty awful. One time I took out two at a time in my old Chevy truck. Would much prefer hosing off blood to seeing hood damage.
Same in the ozarks arb is a must for me we are in the middle of deer heaven I’ve hit deer in every vehicle I own on the way home for work with the arb I know I’ll make it home

for some 35s are rubber overdrive. Somehow for Wilson and her 3FE they are rubber turbo drive

Very nice truck you have in the works there.

While the driver's seat is at the upholstery shop, @Onur pulled the carpet and I cleaned what I could before a storm rolled in.

Cursory before and after...got a lot more to do in the next couple days. We are shampooing the carpet before reinstalling.

Gonna look back at @Aloha Jen 's headliner cleaning advice so once the floor is completely clean I can move on to that.

You and Onur are not farting around it seems. Nice work! I've got a spare rear heater unit sitting around if yours proves dodgy.

Day two. All carpets got shampooed. We actually had a nice day today where it didn't rain. Scrubbed the floor; second time for the cargo area, which looks pretty good now, and first for the rest. Will have another go at the front tomorrow.

More scrubbing of the tub.

Then Onur installed some soundproofing while I worked on the headliner. I used Resolve foam carpet cleaner and started by following the directions then did my own version when I didn't like the results the first time around. Sprayed the foam, let it sit for five minutes, then scrubbed it with a circular soft bristle brush, then cleaned it with warm water and clean soft rags.

I'm really happy with how clean I got it. Brightened it up a lot. Probably took 4.5 hours. Here are some before and after.

Do you think you could needlepoint "TEQ" in the headliner?

Your 80 is looking good.

I just saw a Rav-4 go down the road with the TEQ badge instead of the sombrero. 👀

Thanks, Jim! Love this truck.
